Hangs my head in shame as it's day five of January and this is my first post.
I'm pleading mitigating circumstances though, I worked NYE and NYD and then Thursday night my OH came to stay until today. So I've not been near my laptop until now.
All my budgets have been set. Food up a little on last month, but that was to factor in that the store cupboards are getting a little low and we went to a friends for dinner on Friday, but we took the dinner. I also had to factor in entertaining.:D
Fuel budget is up a little too due to the Christmas drive to Yorkshire. I have cut back on the entertainment budget though because I don't have a lot planned for the rest of the month. I use my entertainment budget for miscellaneous spends, car parks, batteries etc.
Had to have a discussion about the exercise thing, but I think I've got something sorted out now. I'm going to try the Couchto5k challenge. OH runs and I'd like to be able to attempt to run with her at some point.
Counted up my days for lunches to work, including a weekend working but the total my drop because I'm hoping to get some time off now all the blinkin' turkeys have been eaten for another year!
Three spend days so far, Thu, Fri and Sat. NSK sorry, but I had to stop at the corner shop on Thursday. The queue to get into the supermarket was about twenty minutes long and the weather was terrible. Got some fuel too. Friday was getting dinner party stuff and yesterday was getting something nice for dessert, even though we didn't get round to it.
Should have a good run of SFD's coming up though, although Monday or Tuesday I'm going to have to get more fuel. The queue for fuel was horrendous too so I just put enough in to keep me going.
On payday, 27th Dec I paid £550 off the credit card and then have just taken the plunge and paid another £372.21 off of it. £300 being what I should definitely have left in the account at the end of this challenge, the £72.21 to round it down and try and get my DFD to May. Only a month I know but, every little helps!Feb NST #4

Hi everyone
A mixed bag today - the cold has finally hit me, so feeling really grotty. Only left the house to sort my horse out, so another SFD today :j
Also, all but one of my 10 items listed on Ebay sold last night to so £49 into my Paypal account. I'll need to pay for postage, but a reasonable profit for things I no longer wear/need/fit into
Yesterday was a spend day, £54 school hire (planned & budgetted for) plus £12.08 on milk & groceries at sainsbury's
I've also got three lessons booked in for next weekend, so if the weather dries up a bit, that should bring in some extra cash
Really feeling rubbish now, but my tablets have worn off so ready for the final instalment of drugs before I go to sleep! Back to work for INSET day tomorrow - Onwards & upwards to the new term...

Haha, I see the quote query was sorted PhoeniX!
Spendy day here as I caved in and bought some cough medicine after being up all night with my hacking cough. Back to work in the morning so want to feel slightly human if possible. As we were breaking a SFD, DH also bought some knitting needles and wool as he has decided to try his hand at knitting! I think it’s all because he saw a cool xmas jumper with a Die Hard quote on it and wants to make one for himself! I am not sure whether this will be a fad or a serious hobby. I have pointed out that it will take some time be up to jumper / pattern standard, but as he points out we have no other social life due to debt so time is something we do have.
Anway, we did have a nice long walk round town and then to the gym after for a swim and steam (to try and shift this gunk in my chest) so at least we got an exercise in.
I am gutted as my swoozer has broken tonight (I think they may otherwise be known as a stick or hand held blender) and I have tried to fix it but no luck. I am going to have to get another as we make a lot of left overs soup and broth atm. We are looking to spend our amaz0n vouchers we got for xmas on this and some other things that are needed (laptop stand for the home office).LBM Aug 2013 - DEBTS AS OF THEN £25,150  now: £0 :j

Well, day 5 and I've finally managed to drag myself on line.....
Hi everyone
Here's my scores-
SFD…………….………….1/20
Food........................£46/£100
Petrol.......................£68/£150
Entertainment...........£76/£200
Food Bank………...…..£0/£3
Lunch to Work…….….1/13
Rather pitiful I'm afraidI think I must have a post Christmas fatigue _pale_
My budgets are slowly but surely running out so the SFD's should start coming soon!
Have been looking at £9.50 holidays in the sun but I'm a bit confused with the pricing, now I can see which dates are £9.50 / £15 but what if you can't make those dates? Does that mean you have to pay the park's full price (£££)? Can anyone out there shed any light on this for me?
To everyone suffering from Depreesion and SAD you have my sincerest sympathy. I walked into the car park at work at 2.30 this afternoon and it was so grey/overcast and wet my good mood evaporated within seconds I can only guess how bad this makes you feel:(
Well my eyes are rolling as I write this so I think I'm gonna grab a bath and an early night.
Sleep tight all

Hi
Not a good day today had to go back to shops forgot cat food and dd 1 & 2 decided the night before school that they need tights  I asked them to check last week. So ended up spending £22.70 so just have to tighten belts for next shop on Saturday.:o
Also back to work Tom I used to love my job but not recently the team I work with we seem to clash well myself and the other ASNA ( which is additional support for needs assistant) more like she treats me like she's the teacher just because she's been there longer than me and even the teacher doesn't really stand up always checking is that ok with you it's hard enough doing my job work with autistic children whom can be violent without getting stress from team mates sorry rant over.
Have a good evening xx:j

Hopefully I've now added a signature.
No spend day today. Bring it to a total of 4. Lots planned tomorrow but I'm using that word 'planned' with pride as shopping lists are done, route planned to maximise time and minimise fuel usage. I'm not sure where this organised me has come from but she can stay a while :-)0 -
missyv30 I hear ya, I work in the same type of job-except I work in a school spealised in severely autistic students. Dreading going back to work tmrw too, although I love my job I've managed to become one of the most experienced in the team despite having been there only since sept 2012 (high staff turnover) and sometimes the pressure of having to take charge and help newer staff cope is just too much-i don't have all the answers!
anyway, now racked up 3SFD in a row, hoping to get another 3-4 before I have to get petrol when i will pick up anything else I need. No need to take lunch tmrw as work lay on lunch on training days but must remember to take lunch on tues as it's a travel back day so the school doesn't provide lunch...although we do get an extra 30min on our lunch break.Credit card respend 2551.58 (15/02/17)0
