Thought I'd check in now as not sure how busy this afternoon/this evening is going to be.

Declaring to day as SFD number 2 :) The food cupboards are stocked, the car has petrol and I am furious that my budgets are so spent already.

Exercise completed as I have been to the gym and ran for 30 minutes (don't think I've ever ran that long in my life!), did 5 minutes on the cross trainer, a few weight machines and then had a chill in the Jacuzzi :)

Today will be a no alcohol day as I'm only visiting family later and I never drink there, even though they all will. May eat some chocolate later so not declaring that yet :o

Back to work tomorrow so I'm doing a bit of prep and being a bit lazy on the sofa.

Have a lovely afternoon everyone, its raining here :(

  • Afternoon Hobbitses......

Am off to a baby-sitting gig for friends cause Grandma is dosed with the flu - when Baby goes to bed I shall be reading back... hope all is well and everyone is sticking to the rules...

Quickly say that I finally remembered to use all my Tescimo vouchers and got my £27 shop down to £22... and some of that will be lasting until the 22nd... All I really need now is fruit and veg each week.....

I am planning to simplify my eating habits at work and turn to soup and sammies for a while as the constant battle of creating a gormet feast takes up to 90 minutes every night and I feel like I am just creating food, eating food and working.....so new tupperware bought for £3 which are three feezable tubs in pink, three in orange and a long slim tub to store ready chopped celery and carrots to save myself time...

    See you all very soon........

Had a morning out with the family, but took another picnic and thermos and kept our spend to £6.

Am supposed to be stripping the chicken off yesterday's Ald! Free range roast and turning it into some batch cooked masterpiece (lol!), but am currently being sidetracked by my lovely log burner and comfy chair..... ;-)

DH has offered to go for a NSD tomorrow!! He's good at the money saving thing, but if I push him too much, he gets stubborn, so it's great that he's offering to try.

    Have a good avo everyone!

Busy day today, DS's birthday tomorrow so have baked a chocolate cake using ingredients we all ready had, there is a beef casserole in the slow cooker made with YS beef and there will be YS apple crumble to follow.

Raining quite a bit here now so am putting off the dog walking/exercise and will see if it stops a bit later on.

We are having a SFD today although DD had one of her activities today but I don't count them, I withdraw the money needed for their clubs etc on pay day and then if they don't attend one the money carries over to next month. They do things 4 days out of 7 so if I counted them I would never get anywhere.

Nothing much to report here today apart from it being NSD 2.
Was going to go for a walk but woke up with a banging headache. It kept waking me up in the night. I've not even had any alcohol.
I've been planning the weeks menu and have all the food in I need so will hopefully get some more NSD added to my signature.
I cannot believe how depressing this cloudy weather is. It makes me feel tired all the time and I'm sure I could hibernate. I keep telling myself that Spring is on its way but it's not helping much when I look out of the window.
Off to have a nice bubbly bath and hope that and a nice cuppa will perk me up.
    Enjoy your evening.

I haven't had the nightmares yet but expecting them to start tonight. As for you, they usually feature the chance of inspection, or unruly kids (a class of which I have tomorrow, so its not really a nightmare but more like a premonition!).

Just done some planning too :(

Only 6 weeks until HT? Do you have insets/course/trips to look forward to?

We have one training day inset :) animals visitors in on Friday :) and I have three entire days of coursework (so don't have to teach my normal lessons :) )

    evening all :j

today has been another sfd :T mainly as i only left the house to go gym!

done 55 min gym class and 20 min swim :)

have had a bit of a lazy day again and decided not to clean the ensuite as i couldnt be bothered! :o have just done downstairs. have got a beef vindaloo in slow cooker which smells amazing so cant wait to eat it :D going to get up in a min and cook another pot of chicken pathia for freezer.

got 3 cds on ebay which were xmas pressies as i have put them on my itunes and backed up. end tonight and on £17 so far :T have just listed a lip gloss set i won in a comp as not keen on the colours when it arrived so that will end next week. i used the comp to list instead of the app and there is now an option to relist 3 times automatically for free if it doesnt sell! :D so clicked that in case it doesnt!

You jammy thing :) No, sadly nothing to look forward to besides the 30 days being over. My school took the decision that we need twilights so will be finished 2 days earlier in the summer (i prefer this). I am being obsed by the head this half term for PM which is slightly worrying (!) but we'll get there ...
