Weekend update - not worked all weekend and today has just been a oneise day lol!
So totals so far:
4/20 SFD - only spent on Sat
0/£3 Food Bank
£17.93/£80 Food - enough to last until next weekend
4/15 Exercise - ran a total of 23 miles so far this year and been swimming
Also manage to sell a few bits via ebay, amazon and work so just over £100 into the saving pot:D
So not a bad round up for last week. This week is looking a little busy, with 3 meetings, a blood donation, MOT and at least 3 runs to fit in:cool:, hopefully the weather will be a little better.
Right off to wash up and maybe jump into the bath before a busy week.

Silver lining. He has no money this month as hasn't been managing his personal account well. This has meant he hasn't been able to pay half towards ds birthday present meaning I'm having a very tight month. I am below budget on groceries though so onwards and upwards.
Argh how annoying! This is how my DH is, it's a good job I take care of our JA now. I just put it down to the fact he hasn't had an LBM yet!Squirrelling away in September No 33It's not about the money, it's about financial freedom, being in control of it and living in the natural world and not a material world0 -

Spends today:
£1 parking
£2.90 Sainsbury's (cheese and chorizo)
£10.75 in Aldi
£1.99 on a tub of Vaseline for my poor cracked lips
I'm not counting the Vaseline as a beauty spend as my lips are so cracked they're painful - it's a medical spend really0 -
Hi Guys and Dolls,
Hope you have all had a marvellous weekend!
Another lil Spend day today:
89p in Boots for some toiletries, I had £1.20 left on a voucher card which has been in my purse for over a year so very handy and made my lil spend even cheaper.
NSK will think me very naughty as I snuck into a lil Vintage Tea Shop/Cafe earlier with a friend... and had myself a lovely lil piece of home made cake a small pot of tea. To be fair though I was meant to go here shortly after my Debt-free day to celebrate, which did not come to fruition in December as my friend was poorly. So have caught up now, and thoroughly enjoyed the £4 I spent. Ahem *Heads to the naughty step*
Have spent some time researching which charity I would like to fund raise for once I have got myself a place on this local 10km run. I have selected a charity close to my heart so it will help me drive on through to the end! :T Just waiting on confirmation from my running buddies to see if at least one of them will also attend and then it will be full steam ahead. Well even if they both didn't I'd likely still sign up. Got my mind and now heart set on it!
Righto, best get myself a little more dolled up as seeing my OH after 10 days of him being away! Enjoy the remainder of your weekends fine MSE folks!:coffee:

We had a wonderful 8.5 mile walk today followed by a lovely HM roast pork dinner today and an Apple, pear and ginger crumble I cobbled together from cupboard ingredients. There is enough left for tomorrow too whoop whoop:j
I will need to get more diesel early this week. If I can manage on what I have until Wednesday I will get the fruit top up I will need then too so I only lose one SFD:). I will drive past an aldee that day so will go there for the fruit. I will also try and remember to do an online donation to the food bank tomorrow.
Oh and the car park machine was faulty today so I saved £4 on parking so our day out was free:DSave £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%

Being out in the damp weather has made me chesty tonight.
Well Loveadog you naughty imp. Had a few coffees out today as well but was treated to them.
Was so tempted to get a takeaway on the way home but No. Had scrambled eggs on toast and made huge pan leek and potato soup for work this week.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/220 -
Evening all. Checking in with my first SFD of the month! Whoop whoop!
My spendy days have not been too heavy on the finances and have included topping up my bridge tag, and giving a friend £10 for 2 tealight holders she had made (and the money is going to her daughter who has been fundraising for a trip she is going on - she is working in South Africa for 7 months for a charity).
I did do a shop in Lidl yesterday - and I was amazed how cheap it was! I often pick up a few things but had a good look around yesterday and will definitely be doing a lot more shopping there in future. I picked up a box of their cornflakes and will see how they compare (I am bored with porridge at the moment).
I received a £10 boots voucher through the post yesterday (from V Opinions), so that will come in handy.
Another bonus is that on Friday I got paid just over £200 for some work I did in December - and I have got another batch of the same to do this month - should get paid for that in February. The £200 has been spent on my house/contents insurance for this year.
The only downside this weekend is that my vacuum cleaner seems to have packed in - I will give it another go in the week but that may have to be an unexpected purchase.
I still haven't been out for a run - but I did a kettlebell workout yesterday and today - I found a good one on Youtube, so I did 1 circuit yesterday (that was all I could manage), and I did 2 today. And I certainly can feel it!
And I decluttered a bit this weekend - 3 books to the charity shop, 2 chipped mugs in the bin, and a holey pair of knickers in the bin too. I'm going to chip away at my clutter bit by bit to get it cleared.
Hoping tomorrow can be another SFD, but Tuesday and Wednesday will be spendy days.
Hope everyone has a good day at work tomorrow, and hope the weather isn't too bad where you are.
Good night all!0
