Tricksie - slow down :). Seriously well done on your makes.

Florence - cushion looks good. You're very organised making another cover for when that ones in the wash.

Nimbo - that's a really clever idea using the handle to make a necklace. I can't see anything wrong witb thd finish on it, well done.

Have unpicked waistcoat and knitted one snood. Going to knit all of them before sewing them up. Back to Henry cross stitch tonight. Completed head and shoulders of another wife.

  • Nimbo. I Adore your pendant. Must find some old cutlery and get my husband to do the hard work.:T:j:T
  • Spent most of the day tidying my craft-room. Although there are still a lot of things I ought to sort.....
Managed to finish knitting a hat for GD (yes another hat) will sew it up tomorrow.
    Still need to upload photos.
Finding all the photos of finished work very inspiring.

Just realised it didn't save a post from yesterday you must think me very rude not commenting on some of the makes.

Tautus - cute little bag for the bits. I had a feeljng yoj were going tk use them for stuffing. Are the little animals thagbyou mention hard to do? The sound kf them puts me off.

bmma - your baby blanketsbare lovely.

dibuzz - what can I say about yhose hats? They are lovely and so kind of you. My Dad says he's come across some wool ofhmy Mums so I might have a go at doing baby hats. I love kniting for babies but have none to knit for. Knitting for prem units is such a wonderful idea.

So many inspiring projects on here - well done everyone! This thread is so helpful - keeps the crafting going. I am hoping that the quilting safety pins arrive today. If not - I will start on making some chair pads for a couple of chairs that I am upcycling for my craft room.
I want to have some friends round for a card making session so need plenty of chairs. I used to run a card making group in my Church hall. I gave it up when Mil needed time and care. It will be lovely to see old friends again and I have the space to host in my new craft room.

It's called 'The Playroom' and is of a teddy bear sat with an abacus and books and a drum around him. I started it when I was a teenager! Haha! I've done others since, this one must have got lost somehow. It's amazing what you find when you're packing to move house!

Oh my goodness. So many people have been making so many beautiful things! I need to get myself into gear. Haha. In my defense, I've packed most of my stuff away as moving house soon. I start a new job next week so took the opportunity to pack stuff away when I could.

I'm nearly done with 'The Playroom' now, just working on the outlining.

I'm going to try and find the time tomorrow to look through everyones amazing crafts properly. They all look amazing.

I will be slowing down now as most of the smaller projects are complete!

I always think that a day without crafting is a day wasted  Didn't do anything on Tuesday as I was at work all day and then had my hair done straight afterwards. Time I got home it was 8 o'clock and I go to bed at 9 as I have to get up at stupid o'clock :(

It makes me feel a bit sad when I haven't 'made' anything!

I have finished one of the chair floor mats - good job it is not for somewhere that people will look at - I am no quilter! Still - it will - hopefully - do the job. I will position the mat under the front computer desk wheels when I have the chair ready.
Off to make the second one now - itching to start covering chairs and lampshades. So many projects to do.
