its basically a glass jar you put all your snippings in when you've finished stitching. ive never done one before but thought it would be interesting to see how much i get over the year and how the colours blend/contrast together. just need to hope the rest of the family dont think its just another small rubbish receptacle and start filling it with their junk as well;)Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

I have finished making 4 dog beds using cut up duvets for the inners. The removable covers are made from vintage flannelette sheets plus baby blankets/fleece blanket. There is a bed for in my craft room and one for on the landing - depending on whether dog wants to be near Mr F or I. So I am very happy with my makes for £1 - cost of a CS fleece blanket - all other materials are from my stash. Spare dog beds are packed away in the bottom of the airing cupboard. I managed to get 2 photos in the Flickr group plus these ones are in Photobucket.

It always amazes me how they get into those positions.14 Projects in 2014 - in memory of Soulie - 2/140 -
I am pleased that some of my stash is being used and in a frugal way.

I finished sewing a doorstop for the hall. All materials from my stash. I used a broken tile to add weight to the door stop and fabric scraps to stuff. The rest of the stuffing was from an old pillow. I have not found the velcro yet for the cover closure - so it is pinned at the moment.

mrsmoneypenny they can look quite pretty when they're full I'd think!
florenceem your dog looks very comfortable, I should look at doing something like this for my two, although the youngest is teething so I think she would chew them up atm. But an idea for the futureMummy to ds 29/12/06 dd 10/2/08 ds 25/5/11:Amy angel born too soon 18/11/12, always with me Emmie Faith:A15 projects in 2015 10/15completed0 -
Florenceem what did you use to 'stuff' your dog bed? I LOVEEEE the idea of this - we have loads of old bedding from when we upgraded our bed to a bigger size and I would love to use our covers to make some for our dogs and cats (we have 3 dogs and 4 cats and beds EVERYWHERE in various stages of neglect lol):j Married to the Love of my Life 02.08.2014 - Now I'm Mrs E :j
