I can upload photos to Photobucket and then to this thread. It is Flickr that is the problem for me - as that is the way to upload photos to the group.

It is part of the Famous People collection by Cobweb designs - but it is quite old. I was lucky enough to find this kit and the Jane Austen kit in our local charity shop at £2.50 per kit. On the bottom of the chart it has copyright by Sally Scott Aiton January 1998.People Say that life's the thing - but I prefer reading

thank you
this is mark II, i started it the first time after having it for years DH bought it me the year the film came out. i was scared to start in case i made a mess of it. then thought if i dont do it soon my eyesight will fail and i wont be able to. i finally made a start but cheated and used one of those pens to grid the adia, after working on it for almost 2 years i found to my horror the pen ad stained the adia and bleached little white crosses all over it. i admit it i cried, it was almost thrown away but not one to be beaten i bought a new piece of adia some more silks and started again. im using the mark off on a photocopy of the original chart method now.

I wish I had the patience to do big cross stitches. I see the fabulous ones you lot do on here and think 'I'm going to buy. That chart' but I can't do anything bigger then them little ones for cards before I'm distracted.

its basically a glass jar you put all your snippings in when you've finished stitching. ive never done one before but thought it would be interesting to see how much i get over the year and how the colours blend/contrast together. just need to hope the rest of the family dont think its just another small rubbish receptacle and start filling it with their junk as well;)SPC~12 ot 124
