Thank you

I had loosely thought about turning the Lizzie Kate's into a quilt or a patchwork throw, but thought they may be a bit small so get lost in amongst other squares, hadn't thought about making fabric borders what a great idea! thank you very much!
Books are also my other love. I have been collecting them all my life and they inhabit all rooms of the house except the bathroom (steam and books not a good combination). I am a bit annoyed by the Jane Austen sampler as I realised after I started it that it only has 4 of her 7 novels mentioned on it and that seems daft to me - if she had written 50 books I could understand it, but 7 can fit on, so I have stopped stitching it until I can get round to altering the chart and including all the titles.
That sounds like my house. It is no exaggeration to say that my book collection is in 4 figures though I haven't actually counted them. Of course it does go back a long time and doing an English Literature degree greatly increased my stock of books (most of which I still have). And when I got my first Kindle and realised I could store hundreds of books on a single device the size of a paperback ....... well let's just say I will need a lot of spare time to read everything in my "library" :rotfl:
I love your crochet flower. I've never been able to master crochet though I love the look of it0 -
Being new to Flickr (even though I've been a member since 2008!) I'm not sure I've done it right but have put a pic of my first 25 granny squares on.14 Projects in 2014 - in memory of Soulie - 2/140

sweetcarer your journal cover is lovely - the shades of blue are beautiful
florenceem to post a photo here from Flickr - open the photo on Flickr and in the bottom right there is a button for "other ways to share" - click on this and then on grab the code - copy the html code and then paste it into a message here. Preview your post - it should show the photo Hope this works
Not sure how many projects you want to count towards your 14 total - let me know and I will update the first post
mum2one your first finishes are lovely
tricksie were the labels for the glass jars from a magazine? I think I remember seeing them but can't recall where. I also use glass storage jars for some of my crafty bits and now I've seen what you've done I would love to do some0 -

It is the actual getting the photos on to Flickr that is a problem at the moment - times out or says - not connected properly.flowerofscotland wrote: »sweetcarer your journal cover is lovely - the shades of blue are beautiful
