Spent the afternoon completing my crochet flower (number 14 on my list), but haven't a clue how to include a photo in my post so hope this link works

Of course I should have spent the time doing some housework but I just didn't :D

Thank you - the flower was really way down my list to complete, but it really only needed the last 2 leaves crocheted and the beads and button added, so I thought it would give me a push in the right direction to have something completed. And housework - there is always tomorrow :rotfl:

sweetcarer - your book cover is lovely

Ailsb1 - you are very talented indeed, your butterflies are a work of art and I just love your Henry the VIII, can I ask which chart you used? My blackwork wives are from 6 issues of Mary Hickmotts "New Stitches" magazine (very old ones) and I also have the issue with Henry which looks very like the one you have stitched, but then again he is almost always portrayed much the same isn't he?

Urgh you're all doing so well! I have literally done 10 minutes stitching in the last 10 days - mainly because when I sit down to do any at home the cat tries to "help" me - very cute but not very productive :(

It's Woolly Wednesday today though so should get 2 hours done tonight (in between chatting!) :)

I also have a cat - she doesn't try to help but she does cry and plead to be picked up and cuddled a LOT - honestly sometimes she is worse than a toddler and it's not so easy to sew / knit / crochet or whatever with a furry baby welded to my shoulder....and I say baby - she is 8 :o, she just acts like a baby, and I am a pushover.

Anyone else with a thanks button not working? mine is missing

I know how you feel, my daft dog keeps sticking her head under my arm to lift it around her :rotfl:

    Taurus, I love the flower.

I have now finished 6 fabric drawstring bags for storage. I have also made 2 beds for my dog. I plan to sew 2 more beds so she has spares for washing.
I am having trouble downloading photos to Flickr at the moment - is that just me?
