Luckycar - your hot water bottle is reallynice. Is it a present? Its reminded me that I have some fleece that I need to do somethig with. Thinking monster gloves, I'm sure I saved the link via Pinterest.

Thank you! :) Yes it was meant to be a Xmas present for my mum but life got in the way. :( I will either give it to her now or save it for next Xmas. The blanket was great value - I paid about £3 and it has done for a few projects already and I still have loads left. I'm thinking cushion covers next.

...now is good, we are just coming up to some cold weather.

I have restrung the beads- my grandson pulled on the elastic thread and stretched it too much. I'll be wearing these soon on a night out. Pic is on flickr. Hope I've done this right using the BB code.

Such lovely photos! Congratulations to all concerned - from the jumper right through the rock-paper-scissors (never knew about the lizard or the spock!!!) to the bracelet - and somebody's two-thirds made Christmas stocking was posted the other day. That was startlingly professional ... I'm going to have to be careful when I start to make mine next month!

Here is my first photo on this thread. I uploaded to Photobucket and then to here as I don't know how to use Flickr.
The card blank was made with gifted card + image was from received card. Backing paper was reduced price at a craft show and DS tape was from £lond. Very little cost to make - good as I have to make 48 for Mr F.

Well I have made the anniversary card today - was hard getting the OH out the room as I'd only just set up my machine, and he was being nosy... I've stashed it behind the ipod docking station - he'll never notice the bright shiny gold envelope.

Not only have I managed to get my 2/14 project finished (will pop it in my signature in just a mo), but I have mended a top and a skirt. (I LOVE my new sewing machine)... The skirt has seen better days, but I love mooching round in it, so even though the denim is a bit worn, I mended the tear with bright red thread, and a patch behind it - my OH looked at it, and was like - 'is that the outside?' hahaha.

I know I have another pack of craft paper somewhere, so will get on with the next card tomorrow I think (I have to get a uni assignment sorted too, and I need to pick up a new hoover after blowing ours up today, and then there's bound to be something else that goes wrong)... haha.

Statsh busting wise I'm not doing too badly, I have to make a pincushion, as I managed to throw some across the floor today, and realized what a simple solution it would be...

I have knitted a few more rows of my scarf, they're looking Ok, but I will hopefully pick up the pace, and I hope to have it finished by next weekend, apart from casting off, as I have never done this, and may need to be shown (by the time I have finished the whole scarf I'll be too gutted to risk messing it up by not getting help)... Both my mother, and MIL have offered to help me out, and as I will be the MIL next Sunday I may ask her to give me hand (if she can stop laughing after seeing the attempt at knitting)!!

I'm loving all the images on the flickr page - the hot water bottle cover meade me smile - and get my hot water bottle out...

they are really easy and it uses up all the little fiddly ball ends and oddments in your stash. cast on as many stitches as you want your scarf long leaving a tail at each end of the rows and start a new colour on each row. once the scarf is as wide as you want it cast off. i then tied my tails onto knots in groups of about 5 and trimmed them to the length i wanted. pleased with how its turned out and will do another.
