Oh dear on Saturday I went to hobbycraft to see if there was anything that caught my eye to spend some Christmas money. But I was really disappointed as I realised how over priced something's are
So my OH said did I want to go anywhere else while we were out and about BIG mistake I suggested a bead shop that was nearby and I fell in love with it spent some of my Christmas money but could have spent more and more the selection of beads was amazing. They also have an online shopthe shop is called spellbound and is in litchfield.

Welcome to the thread mum2one
mrsmoneypenny you must have a lot of patience, it looks like a lot of work goes into those (bruscilla?) kits. I've seen your progress in the photos you've posted on other threads and I'm impressed! Mrsmoneypenny.......that scarf idea sounds awesome! I have a lot of single balls on really interesting wools in my stash......this might be just the way to use them......may I copy you?'Do not follow where the path may lead. Hi folks, I love the look of this thread and would like to join if I may.
My 14 projects will probably take me most of the year as I have very little time for crafting but would feel I had achieved something if I could give it a go.
My initial ideas are:
1. Make new cushion covers for cushions in bedroom
2. Make new cushion covers for cushions in kitchen
3. Make a scarf - either crochet or knitted. My knitting and crochet skills are quite basic so this will allow me to practice them.
4. Make marmalade for Chistmas gifts.
5. Make a selection of Jams for Christmas gifts.
6. Make blackcurrant and ginger wine - another Christmas gift
7. Experiment with making my own Tomato sauce.
8. Make a curtain for the kitchen.
I am not sure about the final few projects yet but will have a think.0 -

copy away, its a good way of using up lots of little balls and oddments of wool and you get a really interesting unique scarf at the end.
