  • Hi,
I've been following this thread since the beginning and have now finally decided to commit to my list. I'm a craftaholic with a short attention span so finishing anything is always a bit of an achievement!
    So -
    1) Decorate a canvas bag with die cut material flowers.
    2) Make some polymer jewellery.
    3) Make a bunch of pom pom flowers.
    4) Make a bunch of material flowers.
    5) Make Cath Kidston fabric bag that I got with a book.
    6) Make a batch of striped soap for presents.
    7) Make some lavender sachets.
    8) Finish Christmas wreaths.
    9) Use Friendly Plastic to make a bangle.
    10) Make valentine cards - perhaps with needle felting.
    11) Decoupage family letters.
    12) Make some more peg dolls and look into CE mark.
    13) Make a needle felted pot.
    14) ?

Is it obvious that I flit from one craft to another?! Whatever catches my eye.

I'd like to join in! :) Usually a cross-stitcher, and after a failed attempt at learning to knit I want to pick up crocheting. Here are my projects so far, I'll have a proper think about it when I get home.

    1. Finish my oriental butterfly cross-stitch (been a WIP for just over two years!)
    2. Make set of Christmas cards
    3. Learn how to crochet
    4. Dust off the sewing machine and make a book cover
    5. Cross-stitch a photo of Elvis for Nan's 70th (ambitious but I have until Christmas Eve)
    6. Make myself a phone case
    7 - 14. TBA!

What a lovely idea! I definitely want to join! I am (hopefully) getting married next year; we haven't set a date yet. But in the thrifty spirit I'd like to make a lot of things myself. So far I have:

    1. Needle case for my sewing needles - DONE. No picture yet!
    2. Gorjuss cross stitch kit rainy days - WIP
    3. Gorjuss cross stitch kit 2
    4. Holiday scrapbook 1 - WIP
    5. Holiday scrap book 2
    6. Brooch bouquet (mine)
    7. Button or paper bouquets (bridesmaids - either 2 or 3)
    8.
    9.
    10.
    11.
    12.
    13.
    14.

I'm sure as the year progresses I will come up with more!

Done the bits for the best friend, one less thing to worry about!

Love the iPad cover decoupage, and can't wait to see everyone's bits and bobs. The quilt and cards have been couriered to her and I forgot to take a photo - will take one at the wedding!

    Hi Dom

I owe you an apology :o I missed adding you to the list when you first asked to join in. You are there now complete with your 2 completed projects - well done.

I've lost count of how many times I have sent off or packaged up stitched gifts without taking photos - the most recent time being in August when I was finishing a ring cushion at the last minute
