Lovely idea!
Have lost 2 sisters to the Big C, both crafters for ever, so I'll be doing it to their memory too, we had so much fun crafting together.
I'm retired so I have plenty of time for crafting but have to watch costs so recycling comes into a lot of it.
I'll add to my list as often as I can and will try to post photos.
1) Made a colourful crochet hat in an evening as a belated Xmas present for a friend's baby.
2) Turning 2 long sleeved t-shirts that my grandson has outgrown into 2 dresses for grand-daughter by adding skirts and embellishments.
3) Crochet scarf from a Crochet magazine I got two years ago.
4) Make more crochet squares to turn GD's crib blanket (made before she was born) into a blanket for her cot-bed.
5) New hat for GD as one got lost.
6) Sorting at least some of our photo albums & some of the boxes of loose photos. And maybe, just maybe, making a scrapbook or two of the best.0 -
Starting my project list. Here goes:
1. Finish yellow and pink quilt ( and find magazine with instructions for it)
2. Paint and distress pine key box
3. Paint and decoupage biscuit box I bought from CS ages ago
4. Design and make cushion cover
5. Design and make matching cushion cover
6. And 7. Two cot quilts for twins
8. Sew item of clothing for myself
9. Knit, crochet or sew something for charity
10. Knit some gloves for next winter
11. Make patchwork bag from a kit I bought ages ago (and take time to try and decipher instructions)
12 - 14 Spontaneous, whatever catches my eye
Quite ambitious as there are some big projects in there.
Looking forward to seeing everybody's finished articles!January GC 299/300
February GC 295/270
March GC 92/243 then lost the plot and stopped recording for two months and went way over
May GC 372/250 still looking for the plot
June GC 118/2500 -

A few people have mentioned that they are joining in memory of other crafters they have also lost so I was wondering about adding their names to the first post If anyone would like me to do this just post a message with your friend or relative's name or reference.0 -

I've done sow, thing similar for a GD using her own T shirts as she tends to grow out of things lengthwise but not in the body. The most popular with her have been where I have added a couple of rows of gathered tulle to make a tutu effect as the skirt Very quick and easy as it doesn't even need to be hemmed0 -
I would quite like to join this...
Not sure what my 14 things will be yet though. When sorting through things the other day I found a half finished cross stitch kit that I started years ago. I think that has to be number 1 on my list.
I also want to try and teach myself to crochet.Save in 2014 Challenge: #193 £4,197.70/£50000 -
I've created a group on Flickr for us to display our projects, both as we work on them and as we complete them. Membership is by invitation only so you have to request to join (you will need your own Flickr account I think)
It's called 14 craft projects in 2014
Hope this works. It would be good if someone would try the link and ask to join

Welcome to the group. Your first project sounds perfect. What,s the design? There is also a lot of interest in crochet here both from people doing it and people learning to do it0 -

Thanks flower.
It's called 'The Playroom' and is of a teddy bear sat with an abacus and books and a drum around him. I started it when I was a teenager! Haha! I've done others since, this one must have got lost somehow. It's amazing what you find when you're packing to move house!
Normally I do card making, but trying to stretch myself and teach myself new things. I'm going to try and include as many different crafts in my 14 things... when I decide what they will be. :jSave in 2014 Challenge: #193 £4,197.70/£50000
