  • Hi all, please can I join you again this year? I lost my crafting way last summer when I got swamped in setting up my own business. I only managed to complete 6 out of 13 last year but things are much calmer now so I am a girl on a mission!
I would also like to raise a toast in memory of Soulie - she was an inspiration and will be greatly missed. R.I.P Soulie xxx

I am sure many of my projects will be knitting based but I thoroughly enjoyed doing my first ever cross stitch during last years challenge so I shall go away and have a big 'think' and get back to you all with my new list......

Completed my second project tonight. I've mean meaning to decorate the front of my ipad case for months as it's just plain white and I've finally done it. In all honesty, it looked better in my head, lol but that's normal for me! I used some red handmade paper hearts and some small beads leftover from my wedding five years ago, so quite happy I didn't have to buy anything to do it with!

    So my total is 2/14

    1. amend hubby's backpack to fit lights DONE 2.1.14
    2. Sew 'stag' cushion for xmas
    3. Sew baubles cushion for xmas
    4. Sew noël cushion for xmas
    5. Knit scarf - I WILL complete this year
    6. Decorate ipad case DONE 3.1.14
    7. Decoupage some sort of jar or tub to use as a 'pound a day' pot (need to get on this sooner rather than later I guess)
    8-14 TBC

  • I have decided on my first project

1- cross stitch any time is tea time! It is supposed to be a clock but as I already have a clock in my kitchen I may stretch it over a canvus or frame it, or it might end up in the finished box with the others!

Welcome Kim. I agree your first project is a lovely idea sNd will be something to treasure forever

Are the Lanarte minis the cartoon/cute ones? I've liked these designs for years and love stitching Lanarte kits
