    I've been Money Tipped!
I'm going to join in with this again this, only managed 8 in 2013 so hoping to do better this year!
I really want to get better with my sewing machine so I expect my list will have plenty of sewing related items, although I haven't come up with my ideas just yet!
Something I really got into last year was recycling and make do and mending around the house. Ie. one of our german shepherds managed to climb over the safety gate from the kitchen into the living room bringing a whole lot of mud with her. Rather than she'll out for a pet gate, I constructed one from some slats and bamboo I had lying around in the shed. Honestly, it doesn't look that bad and quite goes in with out furniture (natural looking wood).
So I'm going to include items like this too.

My first item is done, my hubby's bike lights keep getting pinched at work  and were sick of buying new ones, so I sewed two plastic pockets (from his record of achievement lol) onto his backpack, with Velcro fasteners and drainage holes for rainy days. One on the front and one on the strap. So he can have his lights on his bag instead, keeping him safe on the roads and take the into work with him.

Anyhow, I've typed on far longer than I expected. Here's my list so far

    1. amend hubby's backpack to fit lights DONE
    2. Sew 'stag' cushion for xmas
    3. Sew baubles cushion for xmas
    4. Sew noël cushion for xmas
    5. Knit scarf - I WILL complete this year

Ok so this is the pantry and if you look closely (excuse the mess, post Christmas tidy up needed) there are blue pins where i did have Christmas bunting, which gave me the idea of making seasonal ones instead.!!

I use Flickr for adding photos. It's easy (and free) to set up an account and there is now lots of storage space. You can upload photos from your pc, tablet, phone etc and then once the photos are in your "photostream" there is a function to "grab the code" for a selected photo - you then paste this code into a post on here and your photo should appear.

I've got the Flickr thing set up now, will need to play with it I think to work it all out. Thanks for that.

Just need to tidy up a bit so I can take a few photos now!

    Hello all,

Thought I share the design of the cover for my 2014 journal cover -

    http://kincavelkrosses.wordpress.com/2014/01/01/2014-band-sampler

I done one in 2013 for a calendar for me and my former m-i-l.

It is a freebie and the designer has some amazing items.

    Kind wishes

    sweetcarer ;)
