I love the idea of a square a day. I have tried many times to crochet but never managed it. I have a week off work in January so maybe 2014 is the the year to learn!

I'm another one who never managed to master crochet though I can do many other things with needles

Good idea to try during a week off. I'm sure there are lots of,tutorials online these days to help

    I'd like to join please,
will add my 14 when i can think of some
    knitting, crochet, cross stitch.

Boughts patches today to quit ciggies, cost too much, i have ms and need something to do with my hands, i would love to make things to sell :D although that would be a long way off yet.

Hope the quitting is successful. Not easy but worthwhile. Can you get patches from your GP ?

Craftseller magazine is quite good for ideas on making to sell and this link has an offer of 5 issues for £5 so might be worth trying. https://subscribe.craft-seller.com/index.cfm
  • Please can I join in?? Have some ideas for my 14 already, will post them once I have finalised my choices. Good luck everyone.

Glad to have you join in

Can I join? I did start the 2013 thread with the lovely Soulie, but due to illness was completely out of it for the latter half of 2013 with a severe infection, still got the remnants of it, so not all with it!

I'm a general crafter, and love to knit.

    My list:
    1. Finish baby blanket for niece
    2. Wedding place cards for BFF
    3. MCFC pillow for OH (Promised it him last year)
    4. TV dust cover
    5. Canadian quilt for draughty unused back door
    6. Small quilt for BFF - wedding gift
    7 - 14 TBC when I've regained normality!

    3. Address book cross stitch cover
    4. Blue sampler - part three (do it at work)
    5. Part one of herb alphabet
    6. Part two of herb alphabet
    7. Part three of herb alphabet
    8. Part four of herb alphabet
    9. Part five of herb alphabet

So think I have a fair amount there - no doubt more will creep into the list and it will need adjusted.
