  • Hiya Lam, I have a few things to eBay too. Just posted parcel yesterday. My earnings from that are going to a new battery for my phone. My phone is fine and don't want to upgrade :money:. New battery is all it needs.

Well done on the extra earning. I have no idea about surveys etc.

I really need to look at my survey site accounts, see if any are close to being able to make a withdrawal, do enough to get them then forget all about them. Survey sites are not for me! I lose the will to live :rotfl:

Doing ok with the nectar adpoints though, that site seems tolerable to me! Also nectar points are so versatile, we can use them really for anything we need!

I'm going to get some stuff on ebay this weekend too, would be silly not to! Good luck with all your items you are listing!

I have Santander 123 account, we get cashback just for having our DD's go out of this account each month. Gives me a kick to earn roughly £12 a month, simply for paying my bills! Well done on the £15 to overpay the loan :T
  • Lots of places ask me if i have nectar card, i just say no. didn't know you could use them on a lot of stuff ? thank you EB

  • Hi Lam
I know exactly what you mean about e-bay photographing in this gloom! I've spent all afternoon moving things from rom to room, under lights, near windows to get a decent photo! You seem to do really well on swagbucks. I'm not doing well at all with that site. The only points I seem to be able to get are for watching videos and then you only get 3 for about ten videos! Groan! I keep getting disqualified for the surveys.
Good luck though, you are doing really well

lol me too with Survey Sites - I only aim for £10 a month but don't always manage - I have two on MS for 25 mins each and I just cant do it lol

OH has the Santander account as all bills in his name - I just contribute half towards utility bills. I have the Halifax account as I only have my phone, loan and life ins dd that go out of it.

I do the nectar adpoints - only started last year but managed to get £25 in points to use towards Christmas :D I don't go to Sainsburys very often but every now again and so those points added in too.

Luckily the picture of the one item I put on doesn't look too bad thank goodness. I already have 6 watchers so hopefully it will sell. Luckily horsey stuff sells easily but it costs so much in the first place! :)

I have the search bar loaded for SB - so every now again you get points for searching - yesterday I got 33 pts just for searching my normal sites. There are also Swag codes every now and again - 28 points were given out on New years day but it can be tedious - I don't really do surveys on there. I try for £5 a week but in reality its £5 every 9 or 10 days. Also if you reach the target every day (or as often as you can - try at least 7 days in a row) you will get bonus points on the 5th of the following month>

Have you had a look at the Swagging post under Up Your Income - lots of tips in the first post x

    Happy Monday :)

On the debt side of things my ebay selling totals are at £36 so far - with a few watchers. Wanted to get a few more things on but just ran out of time. Was so cold yesterday - dug out horses heavier rugs and then ended up have a tidy up of their stuff. Hoping to get £50 from ebay this week.

Having read a lot of other boards and diaries I plan to bring my lunch every day to work this week - working away Thursday and Friday so will need to take something and Wed hopefully some overtime. Therefore I should be able to have 5 NSD :)

Got on the scales to day to find 11st 7 staring back at me ! The heaviest I have ever been even during my pregnancies. Still undecided what 'diet' to follow so for this week am going for
    1. no biscuits (snacking - I am terrible always have biscuit with my cuppa)
    2. no bread - love big sandwiches at lunchtime. have some left over pasta today.
    3. no chips - even though we have an actifry I still eat far too many.
    4. going to eat off a smaller place and therefore smaller portions.

These are my goals for this week to see if next Monday the scales say something different :)
