Payment card used: Santander 123 credit card.
Where paid: In kiosk (not at pump).
Points awarded: 48.
Good thing that I didn't pay at the pump then :beer:

No, I haven't tried paying in the kiosk for a while.

I have checked back online in My Clubcard Account. Up until the middle of November I was getting £50 spend (50 points from the pump; plus an extra 25 points from TPS finance department), so 75 points.

I have checked online since the middle of November and it's gone down. When I fill up at the pump I get £50 spend (25 points on my receipt; and 25 points from TPS finance department).

So still missing points that I used to get.

Will try in the kiosk next time. However I did go to the pump recently and it didn't print a receipt so I got a receipt from inside and it only showed 'half' the amount of points.

However, it's a pain sometimes having to go into the kiosk and wait. That's why I like to speed through the 'pay at pump'. And there should not be a different amount whether you pay at pump or in the kiosk.

I pay at the pump and kiosk and both give the same number of loins, it's been months since tesco halved the points on petrol. It's now 1 point for every £2 doesn't .

There is a bug, either by design or not with the Tesco fuel and clubcard.


If you are paying at the pump with Tesco credit card and when it asks your do you wish to pay with this card? you answer yes, then you get half points. If you say no then take the card out and simply put it back in again, you get full points!


The secret is to always say no to the pay with this card question.

I paid today again on my Tesco Bank card, using it to charge £20 to it; as well as the Clubcard at Pay @Pump.

Bought Momentum 99 and got the 40 points (2 points per £1.)

Just a pain in the backside!

I can't quite remember (off the top of my head) what it says at the pay@pump

I think when you first put your Finest cc in the slot, it says "clubcard accepted. Do you wish to pay with this card?"

I'll give it a try when I next fill up and remove the card at the above point it asks, and then re-insert. But this is just plain stupid!

The points were all ok up until the 2nd November for me. It was only a few weeks later when I filled up again at Tesco that they had halved.

The guy at the Tesco helpline said that perhaps I had a "special offer" that had now expired. But I clearly told him I have had this card for 4 years and have virtually all my pay@pump and pay@kiosk receipts to show I was always getting 1 point per £1

It was last Monday when I spoke to the TPF helpline and they were passing my query to the back-office department to check. I have heard nothing for a week from them.

Interesting! Seeing this made me remember I paid in kiosk for the first time in ages on Saturday, so went to dig the receipt out of the centre console...

Sure enough, £50 fuel, 50 points. Won't be using pay@pump any more then.
