so using the credit card as a clubcard continues to generate clubcard points at 1%. so it is worth using this method. by paying with my Amex i can bag 2.5% in total:T

Pay at pump works fine if you don't pay with the Tesco credit card. I've filled up a few times this week and each time got 2 Clubcard points per £1 filling up with Momentum 99 and paying with my AA 3% fuel cashback Visa card.

I was wondering whether using the Tesco CC to gain points was better than using say a Santander 123 Credit card for cash back? (Tesco Petrol purchases)

    Currently weighing up the options?
If I've help in anyway, please remember to thank me :-)

Santander is the better card for payment.

But if you hold a a Tesco Credit card use that as your Clubcard and, for unleaded / diesel, you get more points if you pay in the kiosk.
