and i am now transferring my newly-acquired Tesco Debit card... do these work in the same way as the Tesco Credit card? if so, i can leave one in the car, and one in the van.. as above, safe in the knowledge that noone can spend on them:D

Yes, using the Tesco pumps has become a lot easier since they revamped them at the end of 2014, just put in the debit or credit card, then press NO, then put in your Amex to pay.

Before you pay it will even let you reduce the price per litre based on how many gift cards you've bought the previous month

ok, yes... but giftcards can increase cashback/points generation, but you've still got to spend them... there must be an angle here beyond what i am aware of
