Their fees for purchases, withdraws, etc are very very high compared to Ffrees!!
Orange fees: http://cash.orange.co.uk/costs/
With a ffrees account you get a visa card, account number, sort code, the only charge is for withdraw which is 0.75p! No other charges!0 -

If you think it matches your requirements better, then go for it.0 -
Just don't leave too much money in it as you've no protection at all. Any company charging so much less than its competition should be treated as suspect in my opinion.0

OP seems to be hellbent on the Ffrees card, so good luck with it.
Trust you have googled fro Frees, and have seen this review: http://uk.finance.yahoo.com/news/ffrees-i-m-saying-no-to-the-card-that-gives-a-big-shopping-discount-02112012.html0 -

The OP has seen the monthly fee for this account, I suspect nothing else we can say will sway them.0

Orange is very expensive, 2.95% for cash machine withdrawals. Which can be very costly just withdrawing £250!
Im still Going to open a ybs savings account. What type of card do they give you?? Can u make purchases with the card??0 -
If you mean YBS Cash Transactor, then the word 'cash' is in the name for a reason. And why would anyone offer you a prepaid card to complement it if you could use it for purchases?!
