What does Noddle.co.UK say about you?

You don't have to post the details, you just need to know them.

But if you need help interpreting your Noddle report, you will have to post the details. Or may be there is a Noddle help line, I don't know.....chances are they would want to sell you some sort of service whilst on MSE, you would get comments without having to pay.
  • Noddle says im rated 1 out of 5

    I have 2 defaults
I have 1 late payment marker with barclays
    And i'm discharged bankrupt

Thats all it says. And a few credit reference searches and insurance searches from months ago...
Anything else on there i need to know?

I am afraid, that Noddle report suggests you are in pretty dire straights.

Without knowing any of your details, Yorkshire Building Society Cash Transactor still looks one of the most promising alternatives for you. Have you tried it yet? You might have to wait until Monday if they want you to appear in Branch, and you will hopefully have access to one of their branches.

If not, not all is lost. Locate the basic account post on the main site - it contains an lot of useful information, and many links that haven't yet been posted here.

According to MSE article both Coop and Barclays (Cash Card) accept "those in an IVA, DMP, DRO or discharged bankruptcy".

I don't think that 2 defaults and a late payment are worse than that, but this possibly depends on the amount and the current state of the defaults.
  • Requested an application pack in the post for ybs.

Nearest branch is 45 miles :(

Thats why i may need a nearer branch that offers a savings account with same features.

And i checked out the basic accounts, its only co op and barclays that offer the non credit check accounts :(

You can apply on the phone. No need to wait for an application pack to be sent to you. http://www.ybs.co.uk/savings/easy-access/cash-transactor.html#apply

I reckon that any of them would credit check any applicants these days. Ask anyone who tells who there is no CC for proof of what they are saying.

Co-op have of mid this year made it a policy to decline any BR or D-BR unless they had signed up to an account or had an already opened account.

    And your point is?

The fact is that many victims of ID fraud find it impossible to open a new bank account while the only purpose of CIFAS mark in this case is is supposed to be warn banks about extra caution and checks required.

My point is that you have decided to, without experience imo, class all CIFAS markers as a means for banks to blacklist a person.

This is not the case, unless you wish to show precedent.

Banks understand the difference between a lower classification CIFAS marker (where id fraud is committed against the aggrieved party) as opposed to the upper end where the party in question has been proven to falsify information.

But then, with certain people, CIFAS is a conspiracy theory ;)

You seem to know what your talking about...

Are there any other savings accounts other than the ybs one, that offers the same facilities as ybs one does?
