I set my alarm a couple of HOURS earlier (and I am an early bird anyway) to fit in my Advents - and this morning I must admit I did not spring out of bed with my usual 'spring'! I think I lay there saying to myself - count to 100 then get up - but I ended up counting to 1000! Then when I got up, I tripped over the Christmas tree lights cable and clocked my knee off the coffee table - so not a good start to the day! Now I have my 'little miss grumpy' hat on Grrrrr!

I'm lucky because I make my own timetable for work, so I've mostly taken December out for comping. What I want to know is, how does anyone keep up with the advents, dailies and ordinary main board comps, while working full-time?

Ha, I don't! I've kept on top of advents and dailies so far, but at the price of the main board. I'm about to start catching up. I comp by date posted, and am just over three days behind, and have 1300 comps to look at over the weekend. :eek:

I'm doing a few but fed up with them and comping less because of it. Can't wait 'til 26th to get back to normal

I've pretty much given up on the advent comps, I work full-time and I've got 5 teenage kids so I don't get much spare time - and to be honest I only normally enter comps with a value of £100 or more (due to lack of time) and most of the advents are for smaller prizes so I'm sticking to the usual comps that I do and any dailies with good value prizes.


I did try to do a few advents, I had a list of around 60 I wanted to do but I gave up after the third day!

A bit yes. I now start my comping at home before I leave for work and do all the comps open first thing (around 7am) then I get do any late openers in the afternoon and the Stella comps every 2 hours. I probably doing around 20/30 daily advents plus any others that appear on the board
