Have Advents taken over anyone else's life?!

A little bit. I've culled out the buggy ones and stuff I generally wouldn't have a use for. I just enter for stuff I would definately want or attend (if an event). Because I think it could go to someone who would appreciate it more.

I try to squish all my advents in before I go work I usually miss the Stella Beauty Giveaways because I can't comp at work and ones that run in the day and announce winners at night Still nice to congratulate winners though x

I was doing up to 200 a day and I've won nothing!
So I'm not wasting my time anymore.

Yes! and I don't do Twitter or FB ones. Am cutting out the advents with prizes I don't really want now but it has taken over my life and I may have to go cold turkey (sorry!)...

I only enter the Advents offering prizes I really want to win as they are time consuming, and the closer we get to Christmas, the less time I will have to enter.

Also, I must admit I am starting to get bored of them because they are so repetitive! For example, the Curry's Advent offers great prizes so I will continue to enter until the last day, but OMG I don't look forward to entering it each day

I'm glad many of the '12 days of Christmas' Advens end tomorrow so a few less from friday!

Argh! They're taking over my life! Mind you, i can't complain i've had some amazing wins out of them this year (its been my best ever advent!) Hopefully i'll enjoy them more now the "12 days of" ones have ended!

I just can't keep up I've had a madly busy couple of weeks outside of computing anyway but have tried to at least keep up with dailies, mags, click to wins and advents, then catch up on main board about every 3-4 days. It worked out at first, but the past few days I've had to let either mags or clicks slide as there aren't enough hours in the day to do it all and get on with real life Christmas!!!!!

I'm coping, first couple of days were like aaaarrrrgggghhhh!!!

But I've sorted them into two folders, night advents (those that can be entered just after midnight) and day advents (usually facebook/twitter ones that don't open till morning)

So basically I come on, go through the main board (which usually includes most of the ones in my day advents folder) then I will pick up the strays from day advents folder then I will do the dailies, then at midnight I will do the night advents

Tbh I culled a lot of the advents, those that were localised comps, facebook apps that didnt work, those that were too much effort etc and I only enter a day if I really want the prize

I've not done that amount ^ but probably at least half but won !!!!!! all and seen a few of the same names coming up on them as winners so some people are lucky! Not sure how worth it they are compared to the normal comps.

First time I've done advents. Quite liked them at first but bored now..

I honestly am amazed at everyone who bumps them at midnight, they come into my inbox quicker than I can enter.

I've cut a few out that crash my pc and try to only enter for things I really want but I couldn't help just entering for the peebowl/shewee prize out of sheer curiosity :rotfl:

I'm just not entering that many, it's the only way I can stay sane. I can get through them in an hour which then allows me to keep a day or 2 ahead on the ending soons.

Glad some people are having a productive time out of them, I'm not but there's always that hope. Win big peeps!:T
