Mrs PG's Hopes & Dreams for a debt free future !

I hope you are still feeling that putting the loan in to your DMP is the best way forward, this will give you some breathing space and free up some cash to enable you to pay off your mortgage arrears
I'm in a similar situation with my catalogue, one of 2 not included in my DMP and still charging a high level of interest. Plan is to include catalogue in DMP and use extra money to pay off other small debt quickly. I just need to get around to doing it, this weekend perhaps. Will extend my default time but possibly decrease my time to being DF.
We will get there eventually my dear

She does chat but I think she brews on things for days and then it all comes spilling out in a big rush. If I am honest I think she needs somewhere special to go to say hello, leave some flowers and chat. I really think that would help her, but that has yet to be organized and although I have tried to broach the subject with others it didn't go down well.
I was then told that if I wanted to do something permanent, the bill would be sent in our direction.....................
Just been reading your diary and you are such an inspiration
In response to above just an idea but sometimes you don't always need to go to a permanent place, you can always get your dd and the rest of you to write a little note and then attach to balloons and then let go to send the messages from somewhere where you used to go together (not too many trees though)
A possible day out for you to spend time remembering and sharing the memories and you can make it as regular as you all need0 -

Hi Debs,
Lovely to see you. Thats a really lovely idea and one I hadnt thought of. I have found lots of little notes folded into tiny pieces in DD2s room and I ahve collected them up and put them in a little jar for now, but I know she would love the idea of tying them to balloons. Thankyou so much for that. She got herself into trouble with Mr PG this afternoon apparently. I wasnt here and he had asked her to make sure her school bag was packed for tomorrow before he left for work and beofre I came home. She said that she was doing it but when he went to her room he found her on her phone looking at photos. He thought she was looking at photos of her and her friends and generally wasting time and told her off for not doing as she was told ( bit of a common occurrence recently with her sadly and a rarity ) When I Came home she told me what had happened but apparently she had been missing her grandad and was actually looking at photos of him as she has made a file on her phone just of his pictures, but for some reason she didnt tell Mr PG what she was doing, so got herself in trouble instead. Obviously had he known that she was looking at the photos of him he would never have told her off.
I went to an appointment today and they were playing Luther Vandross "Dance with my Father "in the background. For anyone that knows it, its a really really sad song that used to make me well up long before any of this happened. How I managed not to walk out I will never know !LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

I have done alot of driving this week and the radio has been on most of the time.
It is Happiness Week on Radio One, so I have been trying my utmost to embrace the Happiness and Spread the Happiness !!:D:D
Mr PG and the girls seem to think I have gone a tad crazy, but I really think that it should be Happiness Week ever week to lift us all out of the doom and gloom that is January.
I will be sad when it finishes tomorrow !LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

I know this song and well up just hearing it, especially after watching many a youtube video of brides dancing to it.
The song for me is Mike and the Mechanics The Living Years, it was the first song I heard after finding out my Grandad had died and I still can't listen to it after 26 years and I have walked out of places if it's been playing but go back in after about 5-10 minutes when I know it's finished. Unfortunately DH loves the song so is under strict orders to only listen to it through headphones and still nowhere near me :rotfl:.
The radio can either be a distraction or a curse when grieving or even just going through anything emotional so I would second the call for making a Happy playlist.

Yep - know this feeling. The song that gets me is the Glen Miller classic "Little Brown Jug", 'cos that's the song my late Dad tried to teach me to dance to. I can't listen to it anymore.
My "happy song" is Roddy Frame's "Somewhere In My Heart". No reason, I was never a fan of Aztec Camera, just loved the song when I first heard it and get a stupid grin on my face whenever it comes on my iPod. Don't know if the site will let me post this link . . .

first time ever I saw your face always makes me think of DD
There's no limits, (although always sing Lemons instead of limits as that's what DS thought it was) makes me think of DS as a cute little boy
Everything I own makes me think of dear departed DD2&3
Wonderful tonight always makes me smile
In fact just writing this list has made me smile
