Mrs PG's Hopes & Dreams for a debt free future !

I hope you are still feeling that putting the loan in to your DMP is the best way forward, this will give you some breathing space and free up some cash to enable you to pay off your mortgage arrears
I'm in a similar situation with my catalogue, one of 2 not included in my DMP and still charging a high level of interest. Plan is to include catalogue in DMP and use extra money to pay off other small debt quickly. I just need to get around to doing it, this weekend perhaps. Will extend my default time but possibly decrease my time to being DF.
We will get there eventually my dear
Granny x
We will indeed dear Granny !
I am glad you have also decided to included the last items into your DMP. I jsut need the time now to get everything together and go back to Cashflow to get it signed off by them.
I am angry that my default time will now be extended by another 2 years, but logically thinking, the default time is 6 years and the bank loan has 7 years left to run. Once more its a no brainer really, I just hope no CCJs come our way or charges on the house. xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Good morning
How about making a playlist somewhere of happy songs that you can play when feeling sad?
Thats a great idea Baldy.
I do have a mood booster playlist on the Spotify (free!) account, but they arent songs I have chosen but a playlist that had already been put together.
I might sit with the girls over the weekend and do that. I do tend to dance around the room to M Peoples Moving on Up if I am trying to get happy ! Old but good tune ! xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Me too DFW ! The only thing currently outstanding ( with the exception of the loan arrears) is mortgage arrears. I was hoping to clear them this month but looking at the figures that may not be possible. We will see xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Just had to reply to this... Moving On Up by M People makes me want to dance round the room too. Very upbeat song. In fact, going to go and find it now and put it on!0 -
oh and I would recommend Walking On Sunshine by Katrina & The Waves as another "happy song"!0

Thank you all for your lovely song suggestions.
I will reply to you all later as I am rushing out of the door now. Taking my mum out this afternoon with my girls, courtesy of a Group On voucher.
Thought it would be nice for her to have something to look forward to in January. All the "girls " in the family are meeting us for the afternoon xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

I love Dont stop believing my Journey I think, always makes me smile.
This song reminds me of my brother and cousin back in the UK. It's both a happy and sad song for me.
My all time happy song is Echo Beach by Martha and the Muffins. Reminds me of dancing like a lunatic in nightclubs back in the late 1980's.It's on the play.ist at home and my gym workout playlist.

Can I be awkward and say that I used to have an angry song list, and would iron to it, whilst scream-singing. It was a great way of getting lovely smooth sheets. I HATE ironing. Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill album was a favourite. Then as I calmed down, I'd play her song Ironic: however, for a long time I thought "a death row pardon, two minutes too late" was actually "a death-throw #ard-on"...
I'm not suggesting those songs for your girls, btw ;-)
The balloon idea is beautiful; the happy songs idea would be an all-weather thing that you can all contribute to.
Your girls might also find it comforting to know that you feel sad and cry, and what helps you get through? What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -

Love this song !! My DD1 sings this and it always makes me happy. I will get her to have a sing song for me today if she has time I think :DxxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
