QED, a charger, otherwise you'd only be able to use the charge on the battery remaining from the factory. It does the job, a lot of people have an existing charger anyway.

quod erat demonstrandum, in this instance, a device which effectively charges the battery, albeit a lead, could be considered a charger? Just saying, you will be able to recharge the battery using the supplied contents of the retail box, that's all.

Anyway, still waiting to see if the dual SIM version will be sold here and for how much.

No you can't. You will need a charger or a PC as well as the supplied lead

Be careful; these are exactly the sort of chargers that you hear of catching on fire.
