The phone automatically appears to have found the mobile network now (just happened by itself)

But it doesnt appear to be collecting things like whatsapp msgs?

When i went to the settings liek you suggested, under advanced, there was no ip address for the phone only a mac address..is that correct?

Yes i got it from tesco mate

Google updated maps last year and no longer have the separate navigation app.

Maps now should/may give your what you previously got from navigate.

Just seen this on the home page. My feeling is the Moto G will be the first (and last) ultra bargainous Motorola mobile now.:(
