How can I get the 'Wi-Fi ON' setting to stick? I often find that after the phone sleeps, the setting defaults to 'Wi-Fi OFF'.
OK, simple enough to reset BUT I was surprised to see a text from Ovivo that I had only 62p credit left. I was using data at home thinking I was using my own wi-fi but I had in fact been using 3G. It seems that my home browsing over the past few days was not on wi-fi but on my data allowance.
If only I knew how to make the setting stick. Thanks for your advice.0 -

For what's it worth, this does sound a bit ropey. I turned my Wifi Setting ON from day 1 and haven't touched it since. Sorry can't help more but just a comparison from a fellow user.0 -

NB The phone doers not come with any type of charger0 -

Not had that problem but did find that 3G data was being used every time the phone 'woke up' before the wifi connection was made.
I've since opted for 'Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep - Always' (Settings > Wi-Fi > Advanced).
I've had very little change in battery use and now no data being used on wake up.
Maybe worth a try?0 -

Asked staff - they are supplied without any charger!!!
As stated on the back of the box !
Fortunately as when I exchanged my faulty one at tesco the 'staff' asked why I hadn't returned the charger .
I was able to draw there attention to the text on the back0
