I see Tesco have it back in stock, but at £129. :( No sign of a discount code either.

Thats the £129 sim free version.

The TescoMobile (£99) version is out of stock.

    Ah, thanks for that.

I just put Moto into the Search box and only the sim free ones were returned. When I put Moto G it shows all the versions.

Does anyone know if there is a current discount code for Tesco as I think the one mentioned previously has expired?

I disable it and then rebooted the phone now gone
    Settings/Apps/All/Google search press disable

I don't know if it will have any impact on any of the other apps but so far so good for me you can still search in your browser.

Problem with that it's it kills the awesome Google Now.

And as I suspected, you don't gain use of the space it used so might as well leave.

Slightly disappointed that the stock apps are pretty poor, the camera app is sluggish and fiddly. That can be fixed with another app.

The native contact manager feels ancient and looks ugly, another app to install then.

More annoying is the poor FM radio app, it doesn't even allow speaker use (with headphones as the aerial) you have to listen through them too.

Even my cheapo Huawei could do that. Not so easy to fix as that app is proprietary to the hardware.

If it was possible I would flash it down to ICS, JB just gets in your way.

You are also right you can't use the space so may just enable it back

Also agree with the The native contact manager don't like that at all

    Not tried the radio

But for the price can't complain to much :) I still like the phone hopefully kitkat firmware will fix some of the issues.

None of your complaints would be addressed by that.

Well for one, on the JB stock messaging app for some reason they have removed the blue icon that links to your contacts list, leaving you to search for the someone in the 'To:' field by typing the start of their name - which is fine unless you have a contact you can't remember how you listed and just want to browse. You can't!

Its there on every ICS phone I have seen.

Also in ICS (developer settings) you could disable a lot of the transitions and effects, they look pretty to start with but just slow the feel down long term.

I am finding a lot more as I go along...
