It's explained on the Ovivo Site:

    http://support.ovivomobile.com/support/solutions/articles/163310-bringing-your-number-to-ovivo

I did it via the form, it asks for your current Ovivo Number, the one you are bringing in (from Orange in your case) and the PAC. I think that was it.

When I ported, my SIM was (and still is) in a phone with a removable battery. I did not remove it, nor the SIM. I simply powered the phone off and on several times during the day. By about 2pm the Ovivo SIM was up and running.

Anyways should be up and running tomorrow, had missed PAC code 30 day period by a day...*****, so owe Orange another months rental, oh well, cheaper mobile phone usage ahead!
  • Where is the cheapest place to buy this currently, any better than Argos £140?
  • My tesco 8gb moto g (unlocked with a £2 code from eBay) did its update to 4.4.2 yesterday. Even though I was on talkmobile at the time (all be it over WiFi). So far so good!

I got a Tesco 8GB and unlocked via SMGreen on ebay for £2, easy to do. The voicemail number can be changed and the only other Tesco stuff I can see is under the Sim Toolkit where it has shortcuts to Tesco PAYG stuff... I can't see any other Tesco bloat at all.

Most pleased with the phone, solid feeling (better than the dummy version I held in the shop), responsive, fast GPS. Not sure on battery life, seems to drain quicker than my older Moto Defy but maybe a couple of full charges and optimisation will sort that out.

You can get unlock codes and 'network' de-branders.

Sound like your looking at the 8GB SIM Free version.

Amazon have that at £129.99, you can pre-order for stock coming in 15 Jan.

O2 have it on PAYG £129.99, fine if your on O2 but otherwise probably locked but would cost you £2 to get unlocked.

phones4u have the 8GB on PAYG at £129 (119.95+£10 topup) but the 16GB is £149.95 (£139.95+£10 topup) across any networks so you could buy one for the network you use and not need unlocking or get the £2 unlock.
