Ive done my first 12 items so that's 12/100 so far. I made some really simple Christmas cards last night and used a sheet of toppers, some ribbon and card blanks :)

  • Confession time:

First the good - I've made two cards tonight so thats now 44/100
The bad - i went on createandcraft tv. BIG MISTAKE! 8 embossing folders and a Roald Dahl pack later...
The kind of surreal - my craft production will be slightly diminished for a while, as I have to prepare a book for possible publication! A website (similar to kickstarter but for authors) has agreed to put my book up for pre-order. If i hit 250 pre-orders within 16 weeks i get a publishing deal! Wish me luck guys!

Went away for the weekend, only to my parents in law in Lincs but I treat it like a holiday. Went to The Range, bought a Crafters Companion Ultimate Pro - has anyone got one? Also bought hot glue gun - both will help me use up my stash though right.........?

  • Oh ems, how very human of you!!:D

I've just been on SewandSo (didn't buy anything, but have posted to a stitching forum about a certain thread brand I'm interested in hoarding the full collection (£70) of), and Amazon, from which I bought 3 Practice Makes Perfect French learning books. OK, they were all at a better deal than even Amazon regular prices and they were using my own 'pocket money' (we're allowed £10 per month for nonsense that we don't have to justify budget-wise), but still books..... And my shelves are already packed.

HOWEVER: My 2 embroidery WIPs and the new cross stitch I'll be starting soon, to say nothing of the other projects planned for June are all 100% from stash. Also, I'm working through my old French, German and English/linguistics books with a view to, finally, getting my money's worth out of them and then passing them on to other learners and the local library. So, it's not all naughty stuff.

    I'm human too..... :p
    Elizabeth :)

Oh well never mind Ems. You sound just like me :) Just think of all the use you will get out of those embossing folders and how many things you can make with your new goodies :)

It's a book written from the pov of the last human being alive. So it explains what happened, then tracks her journey to try to find others. I suppose the post apocalyptic part makes is fantasy but it is told in the form of a diary.

Back on the crafting topic, I have finished a cross stitch today (not the photo stitch but the christmas cupcake one) so thats another added to the total.

I've only got to page 8 :T, really enjoying reading.

My OH would love me to distaste and if I can earn a few pennies if I can, although I do a lot of charity knitting.

So my favourite crafting is, knitting, crochet, patchwork, sewing and embroidery.

Last year I did dabble in Christmas Cards..... And ave lots left over.

So can I sign up for 500 by Christmas please..... Look forward to joining in as well as gaining lots of lovely ideas on the pages so far..... Just love the friendship tea bags,

Adore the Daleks which my Godson would appreciate but I fear would have to buy the ingredients :rotfl:

Look forward to posting the first something soon....
