Massive apologies for going AWOL, I cant believe I havent posted since June (21st to be exact), but to be honest I havent really being doing much for a number of reasons

not felt well (finding recovery from heart attack very slow :( )
lots happening at school due to end of year and son moving to secondary in Sept (I dont remember my move from primary to secondary being so frenetic, how times change)
    school holidays

Scrap that, lol, I just realised how much Ive managed over the last few weeks (amazing how a little every day adds up - feel a bit better now ;) )

70 small scrabble frames (best teacher, granddad, etc)
2 x canvases (owl I'll always love you/ love you to the moon and back)
upcycled a floral plate into a jewellery dish for a friends little girl
    knitted pouffe
    frame for my mantlepiece
    2 x medium scrabble frames
3 x small wicker hearts embellished
decluttered a few knitting and craft mags

I am going to call my challenge complete and start a new one, I'd love to achieve at least 100 before Christmas (not sure what I'll manage this week as busy getting ready to go on hols Friday).

Sorry for all the waffle, keep up the great work everyone :T

WOW thats amazing ziggy, you should be so proud of yourself (as I am of you) :)

Cant wait to see your next 100 creations :)

I'm glad you realised just how much you have done Ziggy - you've put the rest of us to shame! :T

I hope your recovery continues to go well, as we have said before don't feel bad if you don't do too much (although there is ample evidence to the contrary), we would rather you feel better than push yourself too hard.

You're all doing so amazingly well, and here I am, still trying. (My mum used to say that yes, I was very trying. I don't know what she meant!):rotfl:

I've sent a whole load of crafty materials of different sorts to the local Charity Shop and it would seem that it was all sold in an instant because I've just visited today and can only find the odd thing which was mine - so I'm thrilled to pieces for them. (Charity shop that is).

I'm using up crafty stash still, but am finding that I having to buy a few things now and again in order to make some of the things which I want to make, but I'm doing ok with the de-stash on the whole.

Great to see everyone is doing so well. Good Job All!

    Hello

Everyone seems to be busy creating lovely things :j

I decided to create more bunting as it is quick and uses loads of the cotton yarn that I have :D Now creating some tictac themed bunting for the tent :rotfl:

Still quietly working on my DSs quiet book and I got some thread to help me finish it a bit faster.

All the other WIPs are carrying on slowly but using supplies as I go!

Wow, everyone has been making such lovely things... I've been feeling a bit down lately so haven't done much. I made around a dozen teeny greetings cards for a dolls house swap, and today I've finished a quilt to be raffled next week at a dog show in Ipswich. To be honest the miniature cards take more thought and time than normal sized ones, as they have to be in scale and any decoration to scale as well. Silly me forgot to take a picture of them too before I posted them off...

I'm loving all your makes... can't remember who made them without going back a few pages, but the duckpond, the birdcage and the bunting all sound fab.

I'm hoping I'll feel a bit better soon and start doing a bit more craft destashing.... to be honest I'd be happy just to give the lot away at the moment, but I know I'd regret it in a few weeks if I did.

Total now boosted by 2: 12 mini greetings cards (counted as 1) and a lap quilt.

    Total: 428 out of 500
Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

Well that is the tictac bunting finished :D There were no letters on this one so a faster project and I also made the triangles a few rows shorter too.

So that is another 3 balls used and project 2 completed :j

However I am about to add to my stash as I was given a voucher for a local craft shop. My plan is to get material to finish the quilt I am making and to get some material to start another quilt for my DS. At least the yarn pile is diminishing :rotfl:

My DD has requested bunting for her bedroom too so I will hopefully clear another couple of balls in the next week or two :)

  • Seems everyone is back on the stash busting wagon - so many things made recently!

Today I've made a Roald Dahl book box, and four Tardis keyrings. I've also finished page six of the photo stitch so only two more to go.

Hi everyone, new people & returners. Well done for getting so many things done and stash used up (even if it's only to make room for new stash, lol).

All I've used up is a wee bit card, paper, glue etc. First of all I made an anniversary card for my husband, then a birthday card for friend's son.

    Wow loving all these makes.

You really are all putting me to shame. I seem to have hit a brick wall at the moment. I just can't seem to find the time or the mojo to craft :(

I did however make a crown for my Dad the other day whilst he was staying and as this was made entirely out of my supplies (it used a sheet of card and some old sick on gems I have had lying around for donkey's years!) I am going to count it towards my total.

I really am hoping to get my b** into gear and start making again very soon.

Keep up the great stash busting everyone :)
