Well| I am hanging my head in shame as I have not posted in soooo long. I have however managed to complete my degree 2:1 woo hoo... Find a job that I am not exactly loving - it WILL get better though i'm going to make it... I moved house too (with this weird delusion that we would manage to unpack in a single day - I have moved before but was seriously thinking this would be possible)...
I also have to admit I have been bad a bought things for my stash... There will be no more buying (except one spool of cotton and a zip for a skirt I have cut out as I do not have any navy blue, oh and some wax for my dresser top)...
I have read a fair few pages back and will try to finish the thread - but have a few things to get sorted by the end of the month.
My next projects are the starry pencil skirt...
Painting the dresser...
Painting the dining table and sorting the chairs....
My targets are still the same and I will get there!!!!! hhaha
So 37/50 so far - I know I have done others but cannot recollect so will focus on moving forwards....
Loving all the projects that are posted.

I've not been feeling very crafty this week but I did manage to make a necklace for my brother this afternoon.0

Been busy the last few days but tonight I have started on a new quiet book pageTaking responsibility one penny at a time!0

Susan, I printed the number onto the spotty paper, then cut it out.
Unfortunately, I don't seem to be doing much busting just now, just getting busted for acquiring more stuff!
I bought a case and extra folders and magnetic sheets to store cutting dies. I love it! And I've bought a stamp positioning gizmo. At least these are tools to help me use up stash I already have .... can I get away with that?
Then I found this kit in a charity shop.A Catte by r.doctor, on Flickr
It cost £8 - I checked online and it sells for about £50!

Well I got one quiet book page almost complete and I am nearly finished the next one too
I have also started to make busy bags so that will use up a wee heap of crafting materials although not yarn which is the thing that takes up the most space :rotfl:Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
Hi everyone,
You are all sounding super duper busy so massive pats on the back to you all
I am now madly getting ready for a two week holiday to the Dominican Republic so dont think I'll have time to make anything else before I go. On the plus side I wont be buying anymore craft goodies for my stash for two weeks either!
I have made a quick deck of superhero cards for the kids to play with on the journey though. They are really just pieces of card with a printed character stuck on each, backed with a coloured piece of card and ygen laminated but they used up a few sherts of paper and card so im going to count them as one item. Thought thr kids could use them to play snap and a memory game and even possibly happy families.
Im loooking forward to loads of wonderful crafting creations posted on my return. Hows about I set you all another mini challenge? How many craft items can you collectively make or finish in the two weeks im away? Cant wait to see how uou all do
PS: greentiger - what a bargain. I wouldnt have been able to resist that kit either and j dont even cross stitchMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -

I have been super busy today
I managed to prep 5 quiet book pages so all I have to do now is sew the bits into place. That used up quite a bit of my felt stash
Made some activities for busy bags today too so I have cut through some of my general crafting supplies. Only thing was I was really disappointed in my new glue gun. The glue dried lumpy and super fast without actually sticking things together
Tonight I finished the lettering for my DDs bunting and I am working my way through the last couple of triangles before joining it all together. She will be so excited when it is finished! I am lucky in that my family support my hobbies and ask for me to make things that they then seem to really love :smileyheaTaking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
:j:j:j That is another pile of bunting completed :j:j:j
It used 3 balls of yarn and is my third completed project using yarn since joining you all
In total so far I have used up 10 balls of yarn :j:j:j
Soon I will have a manageable amount of yarn!Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
I haven't managed to sew a stitch since I got home from my holiday last Sunday. But I wanted to share with you the fact that I am going to be opening my own little shop, doing Alterations, repairs and using my stash to make and create things that I will sell in the shop along side my Retrend clothing!! So instead of Supplying to two shops I will be selling for myself!!!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
