Well been nicely and busy today.

Hung curtains in the craft room - they are not all singing all dancing appliqued visions of loveliness as the white curtains were too stained to save and when I washed them they ended up with tears in them... They are a couple of Ikea jobs I had knocking about... So rather than a completed task - it's something that has dropped off the list...

I have completed a UFO in the form of a union jack patchwork - this will cover a notice board for my craft room - but this will not be bought until I have used more of my stash...

I have used up two pillow cases, a tray cover and some fabric from my stash box today to make a chair cover for my craft room chair... (upholstered a chair in two parts in lovely patchwork). Tomorrow while I am off work I am hopefully going to get it sanded and painted...

The MIL has given me another table cloth to embroider - as well as a load of card blanks and a few craft books... She has also been given a load of stash that she is planning to divvy out between her me and my SIL...

So three things used up and three completed projects...

Tomorrow I will be cracking on with cards and whatever else I can fit in...

    Good Evening/Morning All

Had a wonderful relaxing holiday and am now ready to get back into the swing of things, it also makes a difference once the boy goes back to school (I'm finding it hard to sleep tonight as he starts secondary school tomorrow so I thought it would be a good opportunity to catch up on the thread, my memory is shocking so apologies if I miss anyone out).

Welcome to all the newbies that have joined since my last post (way back beginning of August)

ziggy, you are a bad influence.

You've caused me to increase my stash - I've ordered white tulle and wreath rings. I just need to source cheap but decent Santa hats now!

Sorry I been awol lately. I have been reading the posts and loving the makes

Love the wreaths ziggy, would love to make but determined not to buy , so ill put them on the list for next year if you don't mind

Greentiger I do like those sympathy cards. If that's the . Right thing to say. I always have a couple in but hate making them and am always stuck for ideas.

I had a frantic few weeks. I been crafting away. Neglected blog. OH who have had a few weeks off work. His Work goes like that. Self employed is the pits. He decided let's use the caravan more. And then while he's bored booked an holiday for 3 weeks in November. Which is great but we come back on the Friday and the church Christmas fair is on the Saturday. And I booked two tables this year hoping to do some different bits. It's not really a profit making event it's just a get rid of stash event to use the money to buy more.. I see crafting as a hobby.

As well as that I thought I'd list some bits on fleabay as they have free listings. I just had two orders this week for 100 cards and 25 cards which is great as I have all the stuff here but with the 400-500 I make for charity every year , I hope I haven't stretched myself too thinly.

On the plus side I have sold about 80 craft things on fleabay, stamps papers and tools. Determined to downsize stash. Sold craft magazines at bootable about 40. Sold s tree amps and papers as well. Made 3 sweet trees , 14 Santa candy canes. 12 eliz Shaw choc packs (4 chocs each pack) Made 10 magnetic note holders and various other things can't remember but have photographed. Can't find the time to blog at the minute.

So total going up. And will hopefully be achievable by end October.

I need to have think about what I can make to use up loads of stash :D There is a loom I was given a year or two ago and I have yet to get it out and set up so I think that is what I will try next as my hand is not doing too well with all the crochet :(

This thread is very inspiring- I've managed to get sewing done and have just done a card (posted about them on my bl*g).

More importantly I have resisted the temptation to buy more stash (despite being very tempted...partly from the great makes on here!!)

Changed my target to 300 things now. Does that make up for my weak will?

    I vote yes ;)

Well done Ziggy- love both these projects. Trying to resist temptation to buy scrabble tiles......in fact I must be able to replicate the look from stash items!

    Hi :hello:
Am I too late to join you? I have a small stash that I keep adding to, which must stop as I need to be saving seriously towards my pension :(
But have lots of UFOs and I need to crack on with them!
I'll try to list them later tonight.
Loving seeing what other people have been making :)
    Thanks
    Rosy
