What lovely things everyone is making :D

I have been caught up in a good book for the last few days and all my spare time has gone on reading so no crafting here :o However it has given my arm time to recover. Just about to start working on my shawl again while I watch bad TV :D

Also made a decision on my next yarny project :j I am going to use the merino I have left to make a chevron cowl for my DD. There are quite a few odds and ends in colours that blend well together so it should clear a lot and make a lovely snuggly item for her to wear too!

  • Hi all,

Glad to hear your arm is recovering Rummer and hope that you are still enjoying the book. I love getting lost in them and luckily my children both share my love of reading :)

I have managed to complete a bit more of my Project Life scrapbook today. I am now up to Wk 29 (we are just finishing wk 37 now so I'm still way behind but getting there slowly) so can declare a further 10 items towards my target.

Talking of way behind I have just noticed how far behind I am with my 2014 target by the end of this year as well - best I get a wriggle on :)

    Rag Wreath No 2

Having been to the docs am hoping that I will feel a lot better tomorrow, apparently I just need to remember I've had a tough year and slow my pace ;) - I dont think I can go any slower :rotfl:

Keep up the great work everyone:T

  • Love the rag wreaths ziggy - sopretty - am now wondering if I could make something similar for my daughters bedroom using some of my tilde fabric I have stored for ages waiting for that special project!

I don't have any wire wreathes though so am wondering if I could bend a coat hanger instead to save buying one - sometimes I hate this challenge!!! I'm going to have a play when I find my metal coathanger as I'm sure I'll have nothing to lose for trying (apart from a metal coat hanger that is!!)

I can declare another item towards my target today. I managed to knock up a quick scrapbook page featuring my son and the school maths monkey which he bought home several times in Year 2.

So the target is getting slowly closer (although still a long way til the finish for me).

    Keep crafting everyone x

I finished a WIP and cleared some stash while I was at it :j Under the mounds of yarn I found a bag with a sampler for a ripple blanket in Debbie Bliss cashmerino so I sewed it up and my DD has claimed it as her new cowl :D4th Completed Project just used scraps of yarn so doesn't count as a ball used.

Still struggling to shake off the hand pain which has plagued me over the last few years, guess I just need to rest them. It is frustrating as I thought I had been careful :(

    Hi Lovely

I've seen them made on coathangers and the best bit is you have a built in hanger plus you can bend to any shape - hearts, circles, diamonds

Keep up the great work :T

  • Thanks ziggy :)

Hope everyone is feeling ok today and getting some stash busting done :)

I'm full of cold but have managed to make a few things. Several months ago I started a "to do" board on Pinterest where I pinned all the items I could make using my existing stash. I have finally managed to use this board to make some more items to sell at my upcoming craft fairs.

Yesterday I made 6 Magic Piggy Wands (found on Pinterest) and today I have made 6 Wish Stones and 3 Beer Mat Calendars :)

I am hoping to load pictures onto my blog in the next few days :)

So I am happy to declare that I can add a further 15 items towards my total but even happy that my crafting mojo seems to have returned :)

Still not seeing any dent in my crafting stash yet but I'm confident that if my mojo keeps surfacing that I will get my stash down eventually :)

Happy crafting everyone and remember - keep stash busting :)

    Hi folks :)

Not really craft as such, but have used off-cuts from my old net curtains (bought them in Ikea, they were way too long) to make new ones for my bedroom to replace those the kittens shredded :T
Hoping the cats don't swing on these or they won't last long!

I've been away this weekend but now I've got my spare room sorted out I'm looking forward to getting going again.

I've signed up to Flickr
This link https://www.flickr.com/photos/127106559@N06/ might take you to my pictures :rotfl:
    Yes it does! Amazing!
Please will someone tell me how to get the pictures on here now?
    Thanks

Congratulations on all the crafty projects :j

My hand is still sore so no crocheting for me :( It is so infuriating as I only have a few rows left until I am finished my shawl.

Stunning makes everyone. I'm gradually working through my Project Life wedding album (only taken me 3 1/2 years :-) )
My brother got married this year and I've just finished a scrapbook layout for my wall with his wedding photos....even more reason to crack on with my own!! All the details on my bl*g!

I've been naughty and added to my stash by buying some acrylic pens as I was completely fed up with being unable to find a decent white pen for writing on mixed media projects etc. I have slapped my wrists and will increase my stash busting efforts to compensate!!
