I have just completed another project today.. I had to buy the 3 balls of yarn used so they are not included in my total but I've used
 3 for baby cardies
 6 for sisters shawl
 4 for DD1's baby blanket
6 for a teachers blanket at school
3 for a pair of shorts and 4 for the matching top
and 1 large cone for 2 pairs of dungarees!
so 27 of my 50 pledged used up.. just deciding on my next project.
 I have donated 12 balls of various wool to my daughter..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

I haven't managed to sew a stitch since I got home from my holiday last Sunday. But I wanted to share with you the fact that I am going to be opening my own little shop, doing Alterations, repairs and using my stash to make and create things that I will sell in the shop along side my Retrend clothing!! So instead of Supplying to two shops I will be selling for myself!!!
This sounds brilliant! I wish you masses of good luck with your new shop. ~ T.C. xRemember: however thin you slice something, there are always two sides to everything.0

Made some activities for busy bags today too so I have cut through some of my general crafting supplies. Only thing was I was really disappointed in my new glue gun. The glue dried lumpy and super fast without actually sticking things together
 :smileyhea
 Is it possible the glue?
I know mine plays up unless I leave for a good long while to really melt the glue...
I have to hang my head in shame again - as I am feeling the stress from the move still (really is the last time I can use that one) I may have purchased some bits...
A craft table for my new craft room for £15 from a charity shop - a snazzy Formica topped one in red.
Went to a vintage stall which was selling fabric for £5 a freezer bag full - In mine I fit 3 table cloths (one has the markings to be embroidered on it) 2 cross stitches (one with a frame and threads and one pre-printed outline on it), several pillow cases which will be repurposed and lots of table mats which are embroidered also - as well as two lined doilies and some Aiada strip and offcuts... as well as some scrap fabric to decorate some old curtains for the craft room.
I then felt bad and yesterday used up two sheets of pre-cut decoupage bits for cards (which I will finish tonight using up odds and sods of card stock to add to the total)...
so now 39/50 and this will be the last spending until I have completed all 50 projects - even if I have to sit and finish 11 things that should wait to get there...
and have reprioritised to say sorting the craft room is number one...

Thankyou. I'm rushing around trying to get the furnishings together now. Bought a huge mirror and a steam press today. Have some glass display shelves too.
I have been in a whirlwind for days. I did manage to sew this morning, a few alterations, and two huge cushion covers for a lady out of my stash. Charged £5 for the cushion fabric, which I got in a huge job lot earlier this year. For £30. Reckon I paid about 35p a piece on adverage! So a profit. Also used buttons and poppers from my stash. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0

Time for me to join in again- lots of stash to bust and I must steer clear of the shops. Maybe I should delete some websites from my favourites too!
Mooloo- so excited to see your new venture. I hope it all runs smoothly for you x2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0

How exciting Mooloo, I wish you all the best in your new venture
I went to a local crafting shop yesterday as I had a voucher and I now have the material to make my DS a quilt. Not feeling guilty though as my main focus is to reduce my yarn stash Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0

I found myself browsing online stores for watercolours after seeing *Jellie's* card on the other thread but talked myself out of buying any. Will have to wait for Santa:rotfl:
I have added some more things here and have figured out how to add a signature so have updated that accordingly.0

Well I have tackled 8 cards tonight for Christmas... Only counting as 2 though as finished off 2 part packs of cards...
I still have loads of important stuff to get sorted - haha but have tackled the small issue of the craft room having no light bulb before dark set in at least so in the last ad breaks I have at least managed to get the table up...
Will have to move shoes next...
I cannot wait to be properly moved in... And finally sorted... haha
