I am in agreement with you that I did, with good reason, comment on a defect. If that's a complaint in your book, then so be it. We'll just have to agree to differ on this one.
Or choosing not to use C&P and paying with cash.
It's not a complaint "in my book", it's a complaint according to the English definition of the word "complaint"!
And yes, you could just pay by cash. Or ask for a Chip and Signature card (assuming you can hold a pen).0 -

Congratulations on your team's exemplary record! I fully understand your reasons for anonymity given that a lot of companies these days have policies about talking to press or social media (aka gagging orders). However, do you wish to give the the impression of wanting to trivialise and discredit anybody who makes a negative comment against a retailer though?Money-Saving-King wrote: »Myself, complaints zero and only good comments, the rest of the store is of a similar standard. I haven't given any procedures we have as I'm not here to represent a company so don't wish to give any indication of who that may be. There are procedures in place but I don't have to justify myself to you.
I appreciate that and I fully aware how to make feedback should I need to make my views known further up the food chain. If you have any additional tips please do share.Money-Saving-King wrote:As mentioned earlier the way in which you complain won't be as effective as the eays I mentioned.Just broke, even.0 -
Aldi are so backwards. Not accepting cards as they cost money to process (so does cash to handle). And the cards they do accept, they don't offer cash back meaning more cash on premises which is a greater security risk and costs more to handle.
Argos warehouse receipts, why do some staff take them off your purchases at the collection counter and some don't?0 -
Our Aldi does cashback.Deleted_User wrote: »Aldi are so backwards. Not accepting cards as they cost money to process (so does cash to handle). And the cards they do accept, they don't offer cash back meaning more cash on premises which is a greater security risk and costs more to handle.Stompa0 -
I have occasionally seen ones that do, but they're a bit of a pain to use.earthstorm wrote: »How many ATM machines have a guard over the keypad?
