I doubt he reads this thread. He was probably just amused by your odd behaviour. (Not that there's anything wrong with odd - it would be a boring world if we were all the same!)

Thank your for pointing this out to me.

I will be on to Aldi first thing Monday morning

A customer 2 before me left her card in the chip and pin machine.

Now an astute till oeprator or another person could get that card and ...

so now it is Aldis fault a customer left their card in the Chip and Pin Machine.

if you read banks and card providers information then you will find it is your responsibility to protect your pin and shield this when using it, it is not the shops or the card machine providers job.

How many ATM machines have a guard over the keypad?
    let me answer that. NONE.

Why do you say its Aldis fault ?

I avoid ATM's because i feel vulnerable using them, no shields and shoulder surfers.

Furthermore Aldi do not offer cash back at their tills

, so they dont allow credit cards, big deal, apart from one shop

They do allow Credit Cards in more than one shop, Aldi accept Credit Cards in Scotland , parts of South Wales controlled by swindon Wiltshire England, and Berwick Upon Tweed.in England .

They also accept Aldi vouchers , the ones that Aldi do not issue, at the Aldi store in Bulwell Nottingham

The question now is where and what type of Mastercard do Aldi accept, Their till receipts shows the Mastercard badge.

If your view is representative of where you work (which BTW you haven't said whether it was a real or virtual store) then I expect the standard of customer satisfaction and staff engage to be quite low.

How many positives have you experienced in your store?

Myself, complaints zero and only good comments, the rest of the store is of a similar standard. I haven't given any procedures we have as I'm not here to represent a company so don't wish to give any indication of who that may be. There are procedures in place but I don't have to justify myself to you.

As mentioned earlier the way in which you complain won't be as effective as the eays I mentioned.

No, it was a complaint. You criticised a feature of the store to someone who works in the store. I agree you didn't make a fuss over it or anything, but it's still a complaint.
I am in agreement with you that I did, with good reason, comment on a defect. If that's a complaint in your book, then so be it. We'll just have to agree to differ on this one.

Indeed, a logical assumption considering the vast majority of people have 2 functioning hands. If you don't however there are other ways, such as standing with your back to the other customers, balancing something over the keypad etc.
Or choosing not to use C&P and paying with cash.
    Just broke, even.

    They do at ours.

Really ? they never asked us today or in the past.

Do you live in other parts of South Wales, North Wales or England not including Berwick Upon Tweed ?

You have to ask them, they don't advertise it. It is a secret conspiracy and I could be :silenced: for revealing these facts
