Of course you want to play devils advocate - it's all you've been doing! I'm not aware of a single person who has agreed with your points.

I couldn't care less whether you think it's clear, it is perfectly clear to everyone else. I think Aldi's response to you has been exemplary. If it was my business then you would be blacklisted from contacting me anymore by now!

Thank you for pointing this out to me.

I will endeavour to show more Empathy to Aldi in the future.

Maybe next time they will send me a hgher value voucher ?

Ive known for years they only accept cash and debit cards in the UK and cash & Credit cards in Scotland and parts of Wales but whats only relevant to me is the UK. And as for Berwick on Tweed it sounds like a nice place to visit especially the Aldi store.

Well Now you know that they do accept Credit Cards in England at Berwick Upon Tweed as well. You have to admit you were not fully in the picture tillI it was pointed out the Silly geographical ban Aldi Have on Credit Cards and even Aldi people didn;t know this

Whats this about elf and safety?

I think the OP witnessed someone use a pallet truck without wearing safety footwear. A breach so serious I'm surprised they haven't gone straight to the UN security council. First you get the occasional staff member breaching pallet truck regulations, next thing you know there are hit-squads roaming the stores killing indiscriminately...

Maybe they will. The better option however would be for them to take a restraining order out on you!

where is the geographical ban. if you has read the posts Aldi placed on here before they were removed they stated they were trialling Credit Cards in a selection of stores across the UK. so the geographical ban is in your head. Maybe like Lidl once the trial is finished they will roll CC out in the whole of England or just scrap CC payments in the whole.

And then use all these £30s on improving elf and safety training and CC processing fees.

I communicated with Aldi to confirm the voracity of the Credit Card trial mentioned on here. I was informed that they are not conducting such a trial. I have to say it is not the first time I have received inaccurate information from Aldi so I think its best to wait and see.

When i take my £30 Aldi Voucher, which arrived yesterday in case I forgot to mention it , I will ask the management team if they can confirm this also.

I wasn't fully in the picture because I don't live near Berwick on Tweed and at the minute have no urge to visit plus the stores I've been to dont advertise the fact credit cards are accepted in B o T as its of no use/relevance to anyone else except those in B o T.

Wouldn't say its a geographical ban Aldi Have on Credit Cards, Aldi can restrict what stores accept Credit cards and which ones dont.

Maybe the OP should move from Nottingham to Berwick on Tweed then they will be able to shop with their Credit Card, or maybe they can go online to Asda/Tesco and do online shopping with their CC
