dont forget you have disrespected them and insulted their staff and intelligence on a public forum, so if they are reading this then may have decided you dont warrant any vouchers.

    The £30 Voucher arrived today.

The Area Managers letter intimated that she didn't want these matters to stop us shopping with Aldi in the future and they will not.

I aspire to become Aldis Favourite Customer

It doesn't HAVE to be logged. Bill = £50, amount tendered = £50, the till balances. Some MSE members know nothing apparently.
yes they do, i will now tell the Aldi Manger he need s to consult with the TROLL slowhand on MSE as all you do is TROLL my posts and anyone looking will see this.

a response to tell you to go away and stop annoying them, and why do you think they owe you £30 in vouchers.

A good question actually in theory we are £20 better off because it was my intention to initiate a Subject Access Request which would have cost me £10.

The cost to Aldi in time for legible copies of my data they hold including CCTV coverage on 2 Stores, would have been far far more than the £30 Voucher they sent to me...

£30 vouchers which some people on MSE think ...
    Aldi don't send
    or
Aldi don't have a system for redeeming in their stores

I may have mentioned in earlier posts today that the promised voucher for £30 has arrived just in case you may not have seen or noticed ?

i'm amazed how much legs this thread has...

but, fwiw, i would be pleased if Aldi and/or Lidl started to accept credit cards, especially Amex:T

    So would I
I guess you must live in an area that is covered by Aldis silly Geographical ban on Credit Cards except for in Scotland , parts of South Wales controlled by Swindon Wiltshire England (Swindon confirmed this correct this morning), and Berwick Upon Tweed.in England

No, YOU are making a mountain out of a molehill.

In case you maye have missed it Aldi have a silly geographical ban on the use of of Credit cards and accept Credit Cards in Scotland , parts of South Wales controlled by swindon Wiltshire England, and Berwick Upon Tweed in England.

I haven't read the whole thread so forgive me if I am repeating, but you do realise that Berwick on Tweed is quite literally a couple of miles away from the Scottish border? It is perfectly feasible, given that it is the only English store that does CC, that they are treating it for admin purposes as a Scottish store.

but how is it going to be processed on the tills which are EPOS and 100% rely on barcode scanning, no barcode then it cannot be scanned in the system to reduce shopping, so it is still a useless piece of paper.

Bank notes don't have a bar code either, but they are entered into the till just fine, so what's the difference? Staff just place the voucher into the till and forget about it.

I don't anticipate a problem when i present this at Aldi.

Although Aldi has a silly geographical bias of banning Credit Cards except for in Scotland , parts of South Wales, and Berwick Upon Tweed.in England.

I am sure that in the Aldi stores we use it will not be a problem.

As i may have posted in the past I am waiting for redemption , not spiritual but voucher redemption.

A very good Point indeed and I'm glad you mentioned this

Clearly the Scottish Bathgate Scotland region are pro active forward thinking and up to speed which is more than I can say for some of the other regions of Aldi.

Aldi can assume that for admin purposes that all of England including the Nottingham Stores at Bulwell and Radford are Scottish and are under the Bathgate Scotland region together with some stores in South Wales and North wales so that they will also be able to accept Credit Cards too. Simple admin answer.

Come on Aldi Bathgate Scotland show them how it's done

In your logic would you consider this. if you were a student in Berwick Upon Tweed and wanted to read for a business and marketing degree In Berwick upon Tweed University (if they have one) you would probably have to pay for your University fees? Would you say well for admin purposesit's just a few miles from the Sottish border in ENGLAND so why do i have to pay ?

By the way if you are reading for a degree and your career path takes you to Aldi would you point out to them how silly their geographical bias of banning Credit Cards except for in Scotland , parts of South Wales, and Berwick Upon Tweed in England is please .
