How many times is that they told you they were posting it out to you and still your waiting.

I was speaking to the manager at my local Aldi store about this thread and he knew about it and thought it funny.
He told me that even if HQ were to send out vouchers their is no way on the till system to redeem them.

The £30 Voucher has arrived in a letter from the Customers Service Manager and a letter from the Area Manager who promised to send it to me.

I enclose an edited picture for your perusal.

So if they don't sell them surely there shouldn't be any in existance at all? I've had a quick look at Google typing Aldi, vouchers & complaint but nothing seems to come up that they give vouchers out to anyone who complains.

but how is it going to be processed on the tills which are EPOS and 100% rely on barcode scanning, no barcode then it cannot be scanned in the system to reduce shopping, so it is still a useless piece of paper.

So hiow would you redeem a voucher as if they dont do them, then their till system will not be set up for gift vouchers. A Area Manager can say anything. If the AM told you it was a good thing to visit Berwick Upon Tweed and jump naked in the Tweed, would you do that because the AM told you it was good.

The £30 Voucher has arrived in a letter from the Customer Service Manager and a letter from the Area Manager who promised to send it to me.

The Area Manager did not instruct me to jump naked into the river Tweed because it was good.

In an telephone conversation with me a few days ago she valued the excellent feedback I gave her about the assistant store Manager at the Bulwell Nottingham Store because had to deal with 2 incidents 1 beyond Aldis control and at the same time dealing with me in a fair and firm way.

My faith in The Area Manager for the Aldi Bulwell and Radford stores has been justified she has been as good as her word.

I will be in touch with Aldi later to verify the information in some of the posts this morning.

Easily, OP does a £50 shop and hands over the £30 voucher and a £20 note. Person on till puts both into till and OP goes home happy.

but like notes it would have to be logged on the system as a voucher which the till are not set up to accept vouchers. Although i forgot only certain MSE users are correct and everyone else is wrong so stop trolling my posts

I don't see any mention of gift vouchers being an acceptable payment method in Aldi. Therefore even if you did receive a voucher, you wouldn't be able to spend it.

    Well its arrived today !

As I've said before I am waiting for redemption, not spiritual but voucher redemption.

i'm amazed how much legs this thread has...

but, fwiw, i would be pleased if Aldi and/or Lidl started to accept credit cards, especially Amex:T

It doesn't HAVE to be logged. Bill = £50, amount tendered = £50, the till balances. Some MSE members know nothing apparently.
