Ouija boards are a dangerous bit of Equipment and was not created as a Game it origins come from Glass Divination which is old as the hills. The moden day Ouija board was created in an time when we embrace the Dead. We would have photo of dead family members sitting with the living and would try to contact the dead.
Clearly from your statement, "it is a Game" you have never used one, or even seen a real one but the world was once
believe to be flat and you would fall of the end.
"Following its commercial introduction by businessman Elijah Bond on July 1, 1890,[3] the Ouija board was regarded as a harmless game unrelated to the occult until American Spiritualist Pearl Curran popularized its use as a divining tool during World War I
The Ouija phenomenon has been criticized by many scientists as a hoax related to the ideomotor responseVarious studies have been produced, recreating the effects of the Ouija board in the lab and showing that, under laboratory conditions, the subjects were moving the planchette involuntarily.
It is a registered trademark of Hasbro Inc., which markets and distributes the Ouija board as part of its line of board games."
So as mentioned above. Science has investigated it and explained it rationally and replicated the results under experiments.
It was introduced as a board game initially, and is now owned by a board game maker who still markets it as a board game. All your base are belong to us.0 -
But not impossible eh. From the letter F it could just happen to be a song which the other person is familiar with and they simply guessed. It could have gone either way. I'm not saying this is what happened but its as likely an explanation as any surely.
I've a special secret funny thing which only my mum and I knew. When she passed I went to see a number of mediums who were amazing and awesome apparently. But, to date not a single person has told me the special word I have relating to this funny story, the word mum would say to validate her being there. I wonder if Derren Brown could guess it?
Ultimately though, if believing your dad spelt out the song is giving you comfort then I really don't see the harm in it. I'd quite like to believe we go on somewhere else and I'll see all of my loved ones again. If I die and there is nothing, well, I won't know anything about that will I. I do think mediums extracting money from people is wrong but they do give people a service which in some cases meets their need to get through each day. I'm pretty sure my best friend is only here today because she believes she spoke to her 21 year old son after he was murdered, she believes he is still with her and that gives her strength. She's been through grief counselling but it was only after she saw the medium that she slowly started to live again. I'm on the fence about it all really, personally I don't believe its real, I wish it were though
Haha, I never got on with my father so I was not looking for comfort. All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.0 -

And if spirits really did want to communicate with you, wouldn't they be able to find some way somehow without needing to wait for a spooky sesh with your drunk mates to take place?
I'm behind you on this one. But I do not posses the answers of the world, as someone said its only a several hundred years ago that people thought the earth was flat. Its only in very recent years that we are now looking at the ripples of the big bang so makes the theory god created the world a non starter, but 20 or 30 years ago most people believed that god created the world. I'm not going to dismiss that fact as I do not believe in god however when im on my death bed I shall make peace with him incase there is one. I want to edge my bets. All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.0 -

He is very open as to how he is able to garner information from people without them realising and it's nothing to do with "spirits" or the "supernatural". It's a brilliant ability to read and predict human behaviour. He also specialises in NeuroLinguistic Programming.
Derren Brown does a stage show in a controlled environment. I was not in any controlled environment with people using mic's special effect cameras etc. Ive told you before saying all that there is a reasonable explanation im sure. But I do not know that answer. All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.0 -

Give the same person the context and subject matter, "Father" is probably the first word they'll think of after being given the F.
Im saying father on here but never called my dad 'father' how many children call their dads father? All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.0 -

Any one can quote wikipedia but if you read more that the couple of line you Quoted you would have found like I said it was idea take from Glass Divination which is old as the hills. I did not say anything about the occult but said it was used to contact the dead.
It can only be marketed as a "game" because anything to do with the paranormal in this country can only be "sold" as "For entertainment purposes only"0 -

For every supernatural claim that has been investigated and explained, the explanation has always been a rational one that never needs the paranormal element into it.
Whatever happened to you there will be a rational explanation.
James Randi's foundation offers a 1 million dollar prize to anyone who can demonstrate psychic powers, telekinesis, paranormal ect under their conditions.
Strange that this has been running for a long time and despite countless people trying, no one has every succeeded.
Just because we see a magician cut in half, doesn't mean magic tricks use real magic
James Randi's foundation offers a 1 million dollar prize to anyone who can demonstrate psychic powers, telekinesis, paranormal ect under their conditions is true but If the Prize is awarded, this would not mean that the JREF acknowledges the existence of the supernatural. ......the Famous Randi get out Clause ......so not realy worth doing is it0 -

"Famous Randi get out Clause "?
What, like asking people to prove what they claim?
If people claim any of the above, they only need to demonstrate it under controlled conditions (i.e where methods are put in place to validate the claim as true, rather than a trick"All your base are belong to us.0 -

I know what you are saying here. I can understand someone influencing someone else making the glass move subconsciencly. I get that theory 100% But you keep going on about all this but as ive said I did not have control over the glass at all. I had my finger so slightly on it as in lots of replies ive said I wanted to catch the joker out. Soon as the glass moved my finger came off and from that point I had no control at all. I did not even look at the letters, so did not know where F was even placed.
If I had my finger on the glass 100% of the time I would hold my hands up and say, maybe I was influenced by making the movements, but I had no control at all. Its as simple as that. All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.0
