When glass appears to move on it's own and is investigated, it's discovered it never moved on it's own.
I'm as sure that ghosts aren't behind it, as i'm sure that everytime i lose my car keys, that a wormhole didn't appear in my pocket and transport them somewhere else.
Can't be 100% sure of that either though.
I'm 100% behind you in what you say. There has to be explanations and I agree some people can be influenced in doing things. However I know what happened and with me not touching the glass something did happen. I'm not sure what but I do think it can be explained, but again we do not know much about the human brain. But I think there has to be some kind of radio activity, after all we are made up of the same stuff what the earth is made from.
I remember years ago I watched a docu about a house that was 'talking' the occupants said they could hear talking on a night time when all was quiet. The house had quartz in the stone work and it was explained that the noise of years ago (I think the house was a public bar some 100 years ago) had photographed itself in the quartz and was transmitting. I think that is what the Ouija is all about and to be honest ive never ever seen one for sale in any toy shop.
But as I said previously there were other things that were uncanny and correct so I really think that the thoughts in ones head are transmitted somehow. I know people on here have been going on about how its done but I never touched the glass because I am a sceptic and wanted to catch them out to look good, and solve the trickery. If i told you another story you would just ridicule me but believe me I have never served in the army and never been to Iraq so do not know anyone over there and did not know what my son got up to on operations, but believe me there was some quite shocking 'chat' and after confirmation from my son most was correct.
I am still a sceptic and would like to find out more. Im not a naive fool whatever you thinkAll the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.0 -
Well another thing is certain in life, Coventry will not be going up!
You are probably, but not certainly, correct. Their current form would suggest they have a chance, even with the 10 point deduction.
What is certain is that after supporting them for 50 years, I will never go to Northampton to watch them. Not even if they do get promoted!:mad:0 -
A Sceptic is only a Sceptic until something weird happens to THEM!0

Here's the original patent filed in the US for the first 'talking board' game, which was later renamed 'Ouija' by an employee of the company who started producing his own version:
Notice the 'TOY OR GAME' clearly marked at the top.

The patent is now owned by Hasbro games (who also own Nerf, My Little Pony, Jenga and Monopoly) and is sold on its website: http://www.hasbrotoyshop.com/ouija-game?BR=6460 -
After the glass moved my finger slipped off as I have said before I wanted to catch the joker out. After 1 letter my finger was not on the glass as I was looking at my wife in disbelief
So they knew they had f right because your finger twitched. The next letter had to be a vowel.By then as you said you were showing signs of amazement so all they had to do was watch you to see when the glass was moving in the right direction. After a few letters it would be easy to narrow down the word so easily guess the next letter. After the first word, certainly two, it's easy to work out the song.
And how do you know the room and people weren't wired up? Did you take equipment and do a full sweep?Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

Do you not know what has been happening? If you do, you probably wouldn't ask. Since the move, around 90% of those who attended last season are refusing to go. There are more Coventry supporters attending away games than at home.0 -
A Sceptic is only a Sceptic until something weird happens to THEM!
Loads of the stuff that believers in the supernatural see as 'something weird' wouldn't cause a rational person to bat an eyelid.
I'm sure there have been plenty of times in my life when I could have put a 'weird' spin on events if I'd felt so inclined.0 -
