I have seen Derren Brown live, he is fantastic....it's amazing what he can make people do or confess. I'm sure as hell, glad I don't know him personally.

Ouija boards are still marketed as a toy / board game.
For every supernatural claim that has been investigated and explained, the explanation has always been a rational one that never needs the paranormal element into it.
Whatever happened to you there will be a rational explanation.
James Randi's foundation offers a 1 million dollar prize to anyone who can demonstrate psychic powers, telekinesis, paranormal ect under their conditions.
Strange that this has been running for a long time and despite countless people trying, no one has every succeeded.
Just because we see a magician cut in half, doesn't mean magic tricks use real magic
I know there is a rational explanation, but people keeps saying go watch Derren Brown, go to Wiki, go to Randi.
Why wont anyone tell me the facts/answer?All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.0 -

Popoff's wife would be in the gallery with a radio link to an earpiece worn by Popoff. She would then relay information to him over that link that had been gleaned by their researchers from before the event.
Are you going to call Mr Randi a wally as well? He got enough evidence to show on national TV that Rev Popoff was a con-man, a thief and a fraudster.
Well i wasnt in a room all wired up. All I did was ask a question, and got the answer? Please tell me how it happened. All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.0 -

Believing in fairies, Santa and leprachauns is ridiculous, and I'm sure no reasonable person would disagree. But it is just as valid to ridicule equally impossible concepts such as speaking to the dead, talking to god etc. How do you feel about the Flying Spaghetti Monster?
As has been explained previously, there is no requirement to swear on a bible. Affirming is perfectly normal and it is what I did every time I gave evidence in over 25 years. I believe it is about time religion was removed from all state affairs altogether as it has no part in the running of a modern society.
Ah, but for all you know I felt the 'vibes' coming from you over the internet and got in touch with the spirit of 'John'.
This is exactly how cold reading works, and it can't get colder than what I did.;) Derren Brown admits he does it all without any psychic powers. Also, I think PersonOne has given you the reason why you may have been led to believe your experience was real. That has to be a far more logical explanation than any contact with dead people.
Oh, by the way, that's thirty quid you owe me.....:rotfl:
Again I appreciate what you are saying and go along with you. But again you choose not to answer the question. All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.0 -

Is it that hard to understand, I mean really?
You've been given explanations about how these things can work.
Ideomotor, cold reading, the power of suggestion. You really should go an look it up and research yourself if you truly want an insight.
You are asking people to explain a situation away, that people were not there for. They have a 2nd hand explanation and did not witness anything.
So at best all people can do is give you suggestions and you research yourself.
No one can give you "answers" or "facts".
Do you realise how outrageous that sounds?
That is like me giving facts and answers on why a child suddenly gets struck down with cancer, or why there was a fatal crash on the M25, or why that particular branch fell off the tree, or why a tree fell on someone else's car and avoided another.
There will be answers and explanations for everything. With contributory factors from various sources. People can't give you facts, or answers for something they were not a party to, in uncontrolled conditions.
You've been given several ideas to look into, nobody here is about to contact the other side to give you exact facts.0 -

Well none of us will ever know for sure, we only have your version of what happened.
It's a fact that memory fades and changes, even exaggerates over time. Therefore how can we not know that your version where you "only had your fingers on the glass lightly" is accurate? How can you be sure?
This is why when crimes are committed, statements are taken as soon as possible. To stop the minds of those involved distorting the truth.
Oh and by asking over and over again for "facts" and "explanations" is classic distraction. You've been given the links and been pointed to some very well known "mind readers" who state the science behind what they do and how they can do it.I have a simple philosophy:
Fill what's empty. Empty what's full. Scratch where it itches.

Ok I will give and exact account of how it happened then its really like you where there.
Ok, I was in a room, in a house, no wires of hidden cameras etc etc. No money involved.
I was quite amused at the prospect and very scepticle. As I had this view one of the people in the house said to me did I know anyone who had died, family etc. So I said my father doed the most recent. Ok, they said put your fingers on the glass, which I did but very very lightly as myself I wanted to catch the joker out.
After a few questions from the person who organised the board which was basically asking if my father was in the room, when the glass moved to yes again I had a grin on my face as I knew this was a set up of some sort.
So I was told to ask my father a question, a question no one in the room knew. Something personal that was not obvious. So I thought of the day my dad died in hospital and I remember the moment clearly and on the hospital radio in the background was the song father and son by Boyzone.
I thought this would be a perfect question to ask as there are loads of songs and this was not a obvious question too.
So I had my finger on the glass and asked the question. In a kind of funny way I said, and it was a bit embarrassing talking to someone who wasnt there, but anyway I asked
'Dad, the day you died in hospital there was a song on the radio when you died, what was that song?'
The glass moved to 'f' and at that moment my finger came off and I stood and watched as it spelled out father and son.
It was just as simple as that.
Any ideas? All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.0 -

Memory fade happens very, very quickly.
I saw the most horrific beating once, the guy was seriously hurt in the street.
I couldn't pick the guy out of a line up a few months later, neither could anyone else.
Anyway, you've been given ideas, why won't you look into them? Why do you want people to research for you? Is it because you don't want your hopes dashed that something phenomenal happened?
No one can give you answers given the fact they were not there, they only have your account, no one knows the circumstances, only how you portray them. Not to mention, people have a habit on the internet of lying (shock horror) to try and win a point.
People have given you ideas already, you can't be bothered to research.0
