You forgot wireless ear pieces and radio links to the researchers in the gallery because they were planted in the green room :D

He was insistent I'd have another baby....come back to me and tell me I'm wrong in a few years....I see you WILL welcome a baby into your house and it is you. I've never been proved wrong and people always come back and say after and apologise....

I'm sterilised heaven forbid that failed, I'd have to terminate as another pregnancy would in all likelihood kill me.

So I'll give him a call in a few years  I'm waiting for my substantial win first...

From an '8 year old' - used for decades in Court - get real!

I'd only swear on a Bible in court so that I was not in contempt of court, not because the Bible means anything relevant to me.

I'd tell the truth because that's the kind of person I am.

You wouldn't be held in contempt of court for not swearing on the Bible. It's not a requirement.

Troll or not its a valid subject. Also you do not know the op, im sure weve heard more whacky chit than this before so before trolling yourself give people a chance, to be honest I think your comments are trolling as you have come to the subject to give your opinion that has NO basis or constructive point of view. The problem with people like yourself you judge others on the basis of one comment. Come to a subject and post a
child like photos to get others laughing at a subject that possible has substance.

your comment is trolling IMO as you are helping others to follow you like a lost sheep and search for pictures to make YOU look good. Maybe give people a chance before you judge others, the OP has made one thread and replied 1 time to justify their language. You do not know the person or the subject matter, so back off and let people have their opportunity to say what they feel before you jump on them like a parasite.

This is Great Britain at its best.

How ironic is this post? You talk about the person being a troll because they posted a picture, well, look at you now, by posting the above you're simply doing nothing but a nice bit of !!!! stiring, and....you know it.

I'm pretty sure the OP is just trolling, and a lot of other people think that too, so seriously, get down of that big high horse of yours.

It would seem that you are desperate to believe in all this 'speaking to the dead' stuff. It is exactly that mindset that keeps charlatans like Sally Morgan and Joe Power in their millionaire lifestyles. (Take a look at Morgan's website!)

Oh, hang on.......it's coming to me now......does the name 'John' mean anything to you?

I like this and see where you are going with it. my father was called John, but how many men born in the 40's were called john? im sure you have worked that out. Fair enough lucky guess, if my dad wasnt called john, the it must be my great grand father, who again was called john, if not it was my next door neighbour who dies around 10 years ago, he was called john. If not him I have several friends, not dead but are also called John.

I appreciate what you are saying, I fully agree with some of the things said. But still no one has explained, and lets face it there have been lots of know it alls on this thread but no one has told me how I got a person whom I had not seen beofre and got him to watch a glass move and write the words spelled, 'father and son' after I had asked the board a question.

Still no one has offered any explanation excpet, watch Derren Brown. You all are full of yourselves adding replies but non worth reading as you do not back up your replies.

Once again I ask you, and again I say im a non believer,

'How did I get a person whom I had not met before wite the words that was spelled out by a glass someone else was touching, the words 'father and son'' its a simple question but many times avoided an explanation

Ideomotor response - see here on Wikipedia. It's something that Penn & Teller and even the "professional" parapsychologist on Most Haunted bring up when they look at footage of ouija board sessions.

reading Wiki is a feat in its self there are to many subsections in topics. click here and click there.

Basically tell me in laymens terms how someone I never met before could write several words on a piece of paper while watching some other person with fingers on a glass while moving around spelling words, the words were a answer to a question that no one in the room except myself and my wife knew the answer to, but again my wife was not in contact with any of this as she kept in the background.

Its a simple question im asking but no one reveals the answer. They all keep saying their opinions but offer no explanation and we are on page 6

so am I, im telling the truth too, im not a relgious person infact the opposite, religion in my eyes causes so many wars and ill fellings etc etc etc but thats my opinion, im not going to shoot down a Christian who visits church each Sunday. I beleive what I see. if I saw a UFO I would believe, If I saw a pink elephant I would believe.

Never seen a ghost in my life, but the fact is this actually happened and I need the explanation how, because as many others I feel there was some sort of science happening.

Ouija board were introduced as a toy / board game. Fact.
Ouija boards are still marketed as a toy / board game.

For every supernatural claim that has been investigated and explained, the explanation has always been a rational one that never needs the paranormal element into it.

Whatever happened to you there will be a rational explanation.

James Randi's foundation offers a 1 million dollar prize to anyone who can demonstrate psychic powers, telekinesis, paranormal ect under their conditions.
Strange that this has been running for a long time and despite countless people trying, no one has every succeeded.

Go and read up on how James Randi exposed Rev Peter Popoff as a fraud. Reading is good for your brain, by the way, expands your imagination and intelligence.

Popoff's wife would be in the gallery with a radio link to an earpiece worn by Popoff. She would then relay information to him over that link that had been gleaned by their researchers from before the event.

(Text removed by MSE Forum Team)

He got enough evidence to show on national TV that Rev Popoff was a con-man, a thief and a fraudster.

If they DID say that, and they DO believe in them, or ANYthing else I may not believe in, then that's up to them, and neither I or ANYone else has a right to mock and ridicule.

But hey, if it makes someone feel better about themselves to mock and ridicule people for believing in things they don't believe in, then all I can say is knock yourself out!

I can only reiterate that if people make ridiculous claims, they should be prepared to be ridiculed. Believing in fairies, Santa and leprachauns is ridiculous, and I'm sure no reasonable person would disagree. But it is just as valid to ridicule equally impossible concepts such as speaking to the dead, talking to god etc. How do you feel about the Flying Spaghetti Monster?

As has been explained previously, there is no requirement to swear on a bible. Affirming is perfectly normal and it is what I did every time I gave evidence in over 25 years. I believe it is about time religion was removed from all state affairs altogether as it has no part in the running of a modern society.

Ah, but for all you know I felt the 'vibes' coming from you over the internet and got in touch with the spirit of 'John'.

This is exactly how cold reading works, and it can't get colder than what I did.;) Derren Brown admits he does it all without any psychic powers. Also, I think PersonOne has given you the reason why you may have been led to believe your experience was real. That has to be a far more logical explanation than any contact with dead people.

Oh, by the way, that's thirty quid you owe me.....:rotfl:
