Family cut themselves out of my son's life

Im not sure the sister will break out of it, shes manipulated and bullied by the mum. I agree, dont make contact with your sister, if my brother ever did to me what your sister did to you tonight, forgiveness would be in very short supply, they had no right to terrorise you like that.0

A tub of B&J's - now that's a good idea.
Ah Wiggy and everyone. Breathe a sigh of relief.
All the precautions worked though, didn't they. Wiggy remains in control.
Wiggy, ring your Legal Aid Contact tomorrow and ask whether it might be a good idea to go brief the Domestic Violence Unit at the local police station after all. I know they said to wait to see whether your mum disregarded the letter but they may advise differently in light of what's just happened.
Did the police give you a crime number for the incident Wiggy? If not - would be worth getting one for your evidence folder. But also because if you ever decide to ask to be re-housed to a secret location the crime number will be top notch proof of your need to be moved.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I think the locks must have put her off guard. Don't think she was expecting me to do that. She would have just walked in else.
You completely outwitted her there. I bet the look on her face was hilarious. She thinks she's going to put you back under her thumb and then ... she can't even get inside your house.0 -
Wiggy, we may not be with you in your flat, but if we were you wouldn't be able to move for all the friends and support you have on here. You are one brave girl. I admire you.0

you do realise wiggy that this is a victory on a par with Waterloo? and it wouldn't surprise me if the police didn't pay her a little call?
now, be prepared for a repeat situation when she gets the letter - she couldn't have gotten it already could she? I am assuming Family Aid sent it first class, signed for - but could they have couriered it and this is what set her off?0 -
Well done Wiggy You've handled yourself brilliantly tonight. Wiglet OK? And your mum has done herself no favours at all. Hope you get a peaceful evening and you can wind down soon.

Very unlikely
Glad I don't live in her house though....a brush with the Police tonight and a warning letter about harassment tomorrow-Be enough to curdle the milk in everyone's tea tomorrow morning ! Hopefully it is her wake up call that she can't behave this way...... It may be the first time in a very long time anyone has said no to her.
Wiggy I am SO proud of you -you did everything just right. Well done ! You should be very proud of yourself.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -
Be prepared that the letter may arrive on Monday and not tomorrow, the post can be a bit late sometimes, Ive waited up to a week for first class letters to arrive.0

Hi Wiggy. I went quiet on your thread a while ago when it was clear my advice was very different to everyone else's, and since I don't have experience with this type of situation, I figured other peoples' advice is going to be better than mine. But I've been following along the thread every step of the way even tho I haven't been posting.
Well done for being strong tonight. I agree with the others about SS - don't worry about it at all. If they do an investigation, what's it going to turn up? A mother who loves her son and who takes good care of him. A mother who managed to stay in school and now holds down a job (IIRC) while bringing up her son single handed. A son who's clean, well fed with lovely toys, and who clearly loves his Mummy.
...and a grandmother who threw her daughter and grandchild out of the house with nowhere to live, and who's harassment is causing her daughter to need treatment from the GP.
Really, SS are one thing you don't need to worry yourself about.Mortgage when started: £330,995
