Sorry Dimey, but I was trying to move you off my feet!0

jeez - if we knew where you were Wiggy - we would ALL be inundating the cops with 999 calls!0

I can't believe it (well, having read the rest of your story I kind of can!).
Keep strong and hang in there, we're all here chewing our nails, worrying and rooting for you.Do you not know that a man is not dead while his name is still spoken?

This long gap must mean Wiggy is speaking with the police. They must be there by now, surely.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Any more posts you want to make on something you obviously know very little about?"
Is an actual reaction to my posts, so please don't rely on anything I say.0 -
Stay calm wiggy, easier said than done I know. You are not alone in this we're all here for you. This just goes to show that your instincts about how wrong this situation is have been 100% right all along. Your mother is a bully and is showing her true colours right now.
Your are doing this for you and your son, and your right to a secure and happy future together. If you get scared just think about wiglet, you are his champion, his guardian angel and best of all his mum. You are a wonderful mother who is putting her child first. He does not need to be anywhere need poisonous and bullying people because you know that when he grows up they will do exactly the same to him as they are doing to you. Now is the time to make it stop.

The police just left. I explained situation, what she's done in past, what I was advised, etc. They wrote all contact details down and said there was no-one down there when they arrived. They said to keep their number, will stay in area in case she returns. They took my son's name and DOB and asked if a SW was involved. This got me scared- will they report this to SS?
I facebooked my neighbour as soon as it was happening to warn her not to let anyone in or answer door, she heard it all and I suspect was watching via peephole as her light was on, but that can only be a good thing.
I was shaking but surprised myself as I spoke calmly, I normally get all muddled in situations like this. My son is fine, watching Ice Age in his room. Think the noise and my look frightened him a bit, as I was pacing waiting for police, its tricky to plaster on a smile and laugh then.
My mum had a look of thunder, my sister looked unimpressed and I don't know- tired of putting up with it, kinda thing? Exasperated? They took turns knocking and running downstairs to ring intercom, which I ignored. They were saying things like 'come on, X' and 'open the door we want to see X', 'stupid child', etc., I could hear through door. My washing machine light was blinking so it was clear I was in, plus my dog kept whining.
I was actually pretty sure they would have physically hurt me, and about 95% sure they'd barge in to take my tot if I opened up. I feel sick and so worried now- if this is just a random kick-off, what about when she gets the letter?Up and onwards to the future!

I've just read your thread wiggy. Stay strong, you're very brave & doing the right thing. If the police haven't arrived yet ring them again & emphasise you are a lone woman with a baby and your mum has a history of this sort of behaviour. The biscuit will only dare to be just a biscuit when it is with its true friend the potato. No, if this had to happen at all, I'm glad it has happened before the letter. Tomorrow when she opens it, it will put tonight's actions into perspective. That she cannot barge her way in whenever she likes. If she hadn't done it tonight, she might think it would be a novel way of getting at you / bullying you after the letter... ifswim.
ETA what I mean is, hopefully the letter will put a stop to what has already been done. As to what she will try next, it's anyone guess, although I suspect she might follow up on the solicitor threat - only to find out she is flat on her face.
You are a brave girl Wiggy.0 -
She may well be back tomorrow. But you know you can handle it now. You know what to tell the police and what to expect. Dont worry about SS you covered that with the HV0
