Brilliant news; good for you! :j
I bet it meant a great deal to your nan, and I'm so pleased for her as well as you.
Your sisters' behaviour was pathetic, but I suppose at least they didn't kick-off. They should be ashamed of themselves.
But more important - YOU DID IT!! Go Wiggy!!! :T:D:T0 -
Oh, sweetheart, it must have been so blooming lovely to see your nan, blow your sisters, they will one day see what you have gained and how well you are doing in ALL aspects of your life.
Concentrate on you and wiglet and make the best life ever.
Take care xxTreat other's how you like to be treated.

And now I have the joy of having my foster granddaughter becoming my real granddaughter. Can't ask for anything better
UPDATE,
As of today 180919. my granddaughter is now my official granddaughter, adoption finally granted0 -
How lovely to see you finally realise just how strong you are and how far you have come.
I'm so glad that you managed to see your nan, I'm sure that she was over the moon to see you and hear all about Wiglet.
Just think....one day, maybe one (or even both) of your sisters will take a look at you and realise just what they are missing by not living their own life. They may well get in touch, when they see how happy you are and how you are managing just fine by yourself, despite what Wigwitch tells them.
Good for you, may this be the first of many visits to your nan!"I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0 -
Wouldn't you have wanted to be a fly on the wall when your Mum got home and the sisters "reported in"
I guess you saw first hand what you life would have been like had you not stood on your own two feet Wiggy.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Well done Wiggy!!!!!!!!! I am soooooo proud of you! how far you have come in the last couple of years.
it was a very courageous thing to do. But, now you have done it once maintaining the courage to contact YOUR nan whenever YOU want will become easier.
do I detect a little contempt mixed with pity for your sisters? There but for your own inner strength goes you. I hope0 -
Fab, fab news, well done Wiggy! x:)0

Well done, Wiggy! You've done it - you've gone back to your mother's house, you've seen your nan and had a lovely morning with her, you've seen your sisters, and realised just how well you are doing - you are an independent woman, with her own home and family, working and bringing up your son - and making a grand job of it!
It's not going to be nearly so scaring, going back to see Nan again, is it? Well done, my dear!

Any comeback from She Who Must Not Be Named, Wiggy? Am guessing that you would have posted if there had been...
Stay strong and keep smiling. xxx0 -
Ok so now I'm working, hoped things were going well. And now just been offered a transfer from my HA property to another one- and not sure what to do!
It is a proper flat- currently in a maisonette- with a bigger balcony. It is in the centre of town- meaning I would not need to be spending half an hour getting home from town on bus, also wouldn't need to spend £40 a month on bus fare. It might be nicer than my current flat which has nightmare neighbours, not a nice area, and very (embarrassingly so) tatty.
Although- mean complete upheaval of our lives- change of wiglet's school he loves and has excellent childcare to cover work/potentially not able to attend maths course which I need due to babysitter being in this area only/not having money to do up new home- carpets, decorating, moving costs/huge change in bills etc when not even being paid full wage this month to cover discrepancies. The new flat is on 16th floor so trouble with wiglet, shopping and dog if lift breaks.
I don't know what to do. Part of me just wants a change and step in a new direction, but I don't need or have the time/energy to worry over things now. I do not like where we are atm but at least its home- just needs work. I really do not want to disrupt wiglet's education as he has settled so well and is doing so good at school. I could barely afford to get rugs atm too.Up and onwards to the future!
