Follow the details from that link but substitute news.blueyonder.co.uk

    with

    If xNTL use: news.cable.ntlworld.com

    If xBY use: text.news.virginmedia.com

If you select the option this server requires me to log on and use your alias / 1st email account and password you should be able to access outside of VM network.

Which is useless ... because if there is a fault like there is now .. how do I report it if I cannot get on the internet at home??

I live in the KT3 area. Had no internet for the past 2 days seems like there is a nationwide problem - is it still on going?

I don't have a home telephone and I am not going to call the premium rate number from my mobile! Even if I could.

    Thanks

My net went down at 21:15 last night and sprang into life 11:45 this morning.

Not tested on xNTL as I'm xTW but if you can log onto the Virgin Newserver outside of a Virgin connection if you use the email / account log in details.
