  • Hi all - I can't believe what has happened to my daughter! She order via her mobile on 31st May - never received the goods, left for USA until September. Then on 18/7/14 a bottle was delivered and then another on 19/7/14.

I've called the customer support ( global processing services) note there approach to customer services stinks, who told me tough you should have called to say you'd not received the goods!

If they weren't received how could there be a trial? Reply it is up to the consumer to contact us!

My daughter who is a student has now been charged £200 for 2 bottles!!

The account has been cancelled as soon as the first bottle arrived on the 18/7/14.

Any ideas if we can get a refund please?

Apparently the company who sold the pills is called Level One Ltd in Wales - anyone heard of them?

http://www.cleansextrem.com ... pick any product, and you will be sent to the page offering you a trial, where you pay a shipping only charge of £4.95. If you really really look, at the very bottom of the page in a small font, you will find either 'Offer Terms' or 'Terms and Conditions'. This is where you will read that you are entering into a recurring charge agreement of £95 per month, for further supplies.

Why would anyone pay £95 for a product that can be found on any High Street for £10?

The deception is where the reader of the page is guided to the top right hand area of the page, (above the fold), where they are requested to fill out their address or whatever. ie anything to get them away from the T&C's (below the fold) that are not prominently displayed at the bottom of the page.

I have read some comment on this forum that says that people should be more careful, and that they would not get caught.

Could I perhaps offer up the following links, to enhance people's information of this subject, most of them taken from moneysavingexpert.com:

    http://www.asa.org.uk/Rulings/Adjudications/2013/3/Beyond-Nutra-Ltd/SHP_ADJ_217447.aspx

    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/shopping/2014/02/raspberry-ketone-fresh-avoid-costly-facebook-diet-pill-ads

    http://www.theguardian.com/money/2013/apr/12/ketone-premium-hidden-costs-free-trial

The product is called Raspberry Ketone Fresh, but also named Raspberry Ketone Blast. Moneysavingexpert has forum complaints going back to 2010. I also note that Michael Smith, news reporter for Moneysavingexpert, wrote an excellent report on this subject dated the 4th Feb 2014, and which is prominently displayed on this site, and is one of the links I have given above.

The Company is based in Ohio and no doubt Ohio Laws will apply. They operate an affiliate network, where hundreds of websites will be created which give information regarding the product, and then offer the free trial. It is at this stage that you leave the original website, and go to the Ohio Product site, and you will usually find the T&C's at the bottom of the page, and basically out of sight.

I personally have seen sites that do not have any T&C's, and do not comply with UK and EU regulations, but because they originate from the USA, all that can be done, is that our governmental organisations can complain to the USA authorities.

Hmm Obama and Dave, can read our Yahoo and Gmail emails, but they can't stop these crooks?

As I said before, I believe that the Banks are participating and assisting in a fraud. I equally think that the Royal Mail should also consider it's position quite carefully, because they are handling the FREE samples via a PO Box.

    That PO Box is:
    Arc Labs Inc.P.O. Box 13511 Linlithgow, West Lothian, EH49 7YH UK(0)20 3014 4035

You will find that your free sample of Raspberry Ketone comes from here. It will be sent via the Royal Mail PO Box, and will be tracked.

Hey! They've now got proof that you have received the pills.

Ring them if you want to, if they do answer it will be someone who doesn't speak English very well. They are also tending now to give out a phone number that goes to the US, where they will lie to you about addresses, times, or whatever. They never answer emails.

Now, should these Banks and the Royal Mail be held to task over basically assisting this Company?

Well let me tell you this:
Google UK returns 513,000 website pages, for the keywords raspberry ketone fresh scam, and also 369,000 pages, for the keywords raspberry ketone blast scam, which are two of the Brand Names used by this Company.

So I say that it is certainly in the Public Domain, but no one is doing anything about it. People are complaining, and a huge amount of money is being shipped by our banks over to the USA.

In my case the person who was scammed was over 70 years old, and the Halifax Bank was more concerned with not refunding their customer, than dealing with a crook.

This problem needs to be dealt with, it is no good the USA chasing our kids for downloading music, our Asperger suffering computer buffs (rather cleverly), getting into their Pentagon computer, or even having Mr Assange holed up in an Embassy in London, which costs us several million pounds per year to fund ... whilst they sit on their hands, whilst their crooks scam our elderly.

That's my view folk's, there needs to be action, and maybe that's why the political horizon appears to be changing. People are just fed up to their back teeth, all they hear are words, and no action!

    Kind Regards
    Alex

Little bird tells me this company is moving away from this type of product.
  • I don't know if this will help anyone, but I too bought these 2 products, link from Facebook 'free, pay P&P only', didn't think anything of it until checking my bank account. So on 7.7.14, 2 payments of £3.95 & 4.95 were taken out for P&P, fine. Then on 21.7.17, 2 amounts of £79.97 & £94.97 were taken out. Each transaction had a phone number next to it and I called the first one. I was really mad and the operator said I should have read it properly, I said it was a scam and no way could they justify this amount. She then asked me if the packaging was still intact and had I used the product, to which I said the packaging was intact and I had NOT used the product. She said in this particular case she would refund me within 10 working days, but if I ever ordered again this would not be the case!!! So on 23.7.14 I did get refunds of £79.97 & £94.97! I also called my bank who are well aware of this problem and they have put on stop should any further payments from these fraudsters be requested. I hope this helps
  • What number did you ring Lorraine54?
  • There's a lot of people that have been scammed. Has anyone actually tried them though?

If they worked, then no other diet products would be on the market. Simple. Why people seem to think a fake ad with some actress or zeleb's name on a product on Facebook will shift their fat. Then the word Moron springs to mind.

Want to try them, go to Holland and Barrett and buy a bottle(they sell them), quite cheaply it seems.
  • I am currently 30 weeks pregnant and when seeing this offer on facebook link to get this amazing body with taking "ketone advanced" and "nutra green coffee cleanse" at a amazing trail price and all I had to do was pay the postage.. Yes, amazing body after baby born. Sounded too good to be true.. It is too good to be true. Don't be scammed and sucked into this.......

I applied for these products on 11/7/14. Didn't think anything of it and received them on 17/7/14.. Didn't open parcel because I didn't want to use them till baby born. I wasn't in when the parcel arrived so I has to go to my local Royal Mail to sinner for the,. How stupid am I thinking about it now.

During this time I had looked at my online banking and two payments had come out of my account.
    1) cleanse green coffee - £4.95
    2) ketone raspberry - £3.95
    Which seemed normal..

Then on 23/7/14 I looked at my online banking and it stated I was overdrawn by £174.94. It didn't state why at that point and wasn't showing up on my account.. I waited and thought it must be a mistake.. On 26/7/14 I looked again on my online banking and two payments of £79.97 and £94.97 had come out of my account from ketone and cleanse green coffee. Annoyed doesn't come close.

I rang up the company and stated that it says it was a free trail and I didn't sign up for anything and after saying to be I had gone past the 14 day cancellation period. I demanded a full refund and that I can't afford to pay this and wasn't aware of these terms and conditions. After been on the phone with him he then said I needed a RMA number for each product and have me this straight away and stated I needed to send it to address -

    PO BOX 7574
    Milton Keynes
    MK11 9GQ
    Uk
With the RMA number provided from him. Make sure you ring the company up for this RMA number because they won't apparently process refund without it..

I then was insisted I getting the parcel recorded and tracked so that I can provide tracking number when parcel has arrived. Apparently they also won't process the full refund without the tracking number.

I have received all information and tomorrow I will be sending the parcel to the address given by the customer service. A lot of people have been given different addresses to send parcels back too but I was told is one.. It also states on both products bottles the same address the customer service has issued me with..

When the parcel has been sent back and signed for. And that I can see it has been received through the tracking number. I will then ring them back and insist on full refund. Apparently the guy said it would take 3-5 days to process this and I will get a FULL refund for these.

    I rang up the number - 0844 858 8073

Trick for you when you are speaking to them. I recorded the conversations I have had with customer service and taken the representatives names.

You need as much information and gather a case to get your money back.. I hope it will work for me.. I will post reply again if it works but keep fighting and don't give in to them.. It's a lot of money and it's a scam.. People are falling for it all the time.. Make sure you don't let it happen again..

    Hope it helps
  • Adavanced raspberry keytone is a scam. They offer you a free trial for £3.99 and don't tell you unless you can see the small print they will taking £94.97 straight from your account a month later. They will continue taking money from your account until you cancel. To cancel is also a problem. They ask you to call their helpline and when you do it eat up all your credit. They ask you to send the free trial back with the receipt if you want a refund but they are expecting you to send the free trial back to them unused. So how can it be a free trial if you never got to try it? Lucky for my cousin they only got away with taking just under £100. But her friend wasn't so lucky. They mangaged to take £600 from her bank account. And she had no way of getting her money back because she didn't read the small print. :money::mad:
  • Just to let everyone know, that I was foolish enough to order raspberry ketone fresh through advertisement on Facebook on 17.03.2014. And instead of charging 4.95 as I expected, I have been charged 153.95. So later I realized that you have to pay this amount and later you get a rebate. Of course I felt foolish, but decided to follow their rules. It was just one time charge, no monthly charges were created. I got raspberry ketone in couple days and patiently waited until my rebate form will be active. I filled and sent rebate form on 19.04.2014. And terms and conditions said you have to wait 8-10 weeks to get a rebate. So time passed and I haven't got anything in a post so I rang to customer service 27.07.2014. And I was told my rebate has been sent and I should receive it in 2 weeks time. I still haven't got any letter, but... I checked my account today and I saw 149 pounds back into my account. So rebate works at least for the site I've ordered, but there are different sites, so don't know about other ones. In bank statement money were sent to "buy4healtg ketone". The same name stands on received payment today. Good luck everyone, and be attentive with such offers next time. It took a long time, but I got my money back no problem :-)
